Words at the right moment.

yesterday one of my sons had a seizure while getting ready for school in the morning.

this is the second time such a thing has taken place, the first time was his being on the way to school a couple of weeks ago--but due to circumstances it was suspected to be related to a possible heart problem, and not a seizure after all.. when my other son came into our room to let us know something crazy was going on, my husband raced upstairs and realized it was a grand mal.

he helped clear the area, and held my son's head in his arms.

god told the first human couple their destiny if they disobeyed.

he did not discuss their eternal future if they obeyed.

Thus, it stands to reason that had Adam and Eve been obedient to God's command they would have never died.

Ah, the outstanding logic of the WTS and her devotees. "It stands to reason".....usually preceeds some ridiculous statement thet we're all supposed to accept as the word of Jehovah.

"The friends" came over today.............

i am so sick of witnesses reserving catchphrases for themselves.. talking to my wifes mother today she kept referring to "the friends".

"the friends came over today, we went to lunch with the friends".

well if they are "the friends", then what the hell are everyone else?

When a group of them gets together, all they ever talk about is "the soceity" this and "the soceity" that.

Totally! "The Society says", "The Society says." I'm so sick of that phrase. They equate the Society with God every time they say that.

i think it was paragraph 18 or right around there.. the gist of ithe paragraph was, "some will lose faith because our predictions failed, some of our stuff doesn't make sense, or someone treats us like crap".. the answers were just a riot.

i couldn't help but wonder if some weren't faders.. "i remember when i started in the truth, i thought, this stuff is crazy, but i just knew it was the truth because where else could i go".

"where else can we go" (i would like to point out that this is hardly a ringing endorsement).

S. Assembly Day St. Louis 10-16-05

my wife attended the special assembly day this last sunday.

here are some interesting points.. 1. attendance was 700.

This has resulted in great woe for the earth. Truly, there has been much woe for mankind, particularly since 1914.

CNN reported this morning on a new FBI study on US crime rates. Crime rates have actually fallen in the past few years. So much for all the "bible prophecy" being fullfilled.
