where to start?
first off i want to say that i actually took notes with my really cool 4 colour pen, and i colour coded my comments accordingly.
green = vomit inducing, red = furious, blue = makes me sad, and black = makes me want to die, lets just say that my article was really green .
I was just commenting to my husband this morning about how glad I was that we didn't go Sunday and listen to that LOAD OF CRAP!
So I guess, that when all these JW kids, leave school and pioneer the WTS will hand out checks to make up for the money these kids won't be making? NOT!

a few days ago a witness apologist tried to make a case that exjdubs on the internet lessened the effect of apostasy in the congregations.
if i understand the basic argument it is that we all get together here and commiserate about the bad ole society instead of the old days where we aired our differences with others in the congregation.
now its only the occasional careless/disgruntled witness who gets entrapped by our machinations.. bull corn, i know i would probably still be plugging away at 5 meetings a week, & service on saturday, sunday, monday, and wednesday were it not for the internet.
All hail the mighty INTERNET, yes it is a huge threat!

Wow, that picture brought back memories, I had some great times there, I remember the Egyptian thing lasting for many years. I also used to wonder why they had left all that Egyptian stuff there, when I was pretty young and bored at the assemblies I used to know the exact number of leaf looking thingies all around the stage. It had this huge chandelier, sometimes my mind would drift during the talks and I would wonder what it would be like if that thing fell, yes I was really bored. In my teenage years, me and my freinds checked alot of cute brothers there, then the memories with the boyfreinds, memories light the corners of my mind, misty water colored memories of the way we werrrrrrrrrrrrre, ok, I snapped back to the present now.

once upon a time we knew it all -- the right and the wrong things to think or to do -- and then we had to unlearn somehow.
give up beliefs, ideas, prejudices, attitudes, etc.. the discussions on this board suggest that we all had -- and have -- different ways or strategies in unlearning.

For me it has been a gradual journey, like peeling away layer upon layer of ingrained beliefs and ideas, of course quite frightening and painful at times. But when I found out about the NGO coverup, that began opening my eyes, and made me wonder what else has been covered up, I didn't want to believe it could be possible that Jehovah's organization could do this, I first hoped it wasn't true, just something that apostates made up, but the truth of the matter became clear. That was over 6 mos. ago, now my sons both say they always had doubts about the religion, the younger one once asked when he was about 6 years old, how it is that we know for sure who wrote the bible, since it was supposedly written so long ago he said "How do you know someone didn't just make stuff up and put it there?" Ah, young minds, so uncluttered and unbrainwashed.
Today he says, you see I always knew there was something wrong with all of this, and yes he was absolutely right.

My husband and I count the time we spend enlightening people in any way ie telling them the truths about the WTS, the Bible lies and contradictions, the Jesus myths, the Sumerians, the Three Minute Powerpause by John Haricharan, my time posting here, anything that can help people open their eyes and untie the yoke of Religion and falsehood, empower and enlighten them,that is our ministry and that is the time we report, hey they just want some hours right? Eventually, I know we will probably leave, but for now we just play the game.
