Hmm... I don't know about the laws in other states, but in Michigan the age of consent is 16, so you can't be prosecuted for having consentual sex with a 16 or 17 year old.

Was it frowned on to plan vacation during the Circuit Overseers visit?
by truthseeker ini have noticed in my hall, and others, that to plan a vacation or to be away during any of the upcoming co's visits was frowned upon.
it was said you weren't being responsible and were disregarding the counsel to make that a week of "special activity.".
sometimes, it is not know when a co will next visit.

Yeah, something's not right here... it seems they are leaving out a big segment of the population - those living with a significant other but not married. Only 5% of their sample was in that category, but I think it's a bigger part of the population than that.

by alienagent ini am rather new here, so i may be repeating a worn out subject.
however, for me it is rather a new experience, since i have only just recently stopped going to the kh.
my heart has never really been in it, though i am not in total disagreement and have made some nice friends in "the truth".

If someone says they worship Satan
by free2beme indo you think they are doing this because they truly love the satan character and want to please him or do you think they do it for complete shock value.
to basically do something that makes what is defined as good in society (christian religion) angry that someone would do something so wrong.
personally, i do not think there is one satanist out their who truly thinks that they are worshiping a being that is real, or actually something that could benefit from their worship.

I think there are the LaVey "satanists" who don't really worship a creature but espouse a concept, and there are the real satanists who really do worship a being. Both are probably into it for the shock value.

how many of you have armed themselves?
by buffalosrfree ini recently bought a high powered rifle and am presently buying a pistol for back-up.
i have a cross bow, a compound bow, and several swords and knives, in fact i have been collecting knives for some time and have learned how to use them in defending myself and in taking the initiative in learning to defend myself.
i am quite versed in using both the croww bow and the compound bow, it seems the goverment doesn't want to defend us and just wants to unarm us.

What type of gun would you recommend for personal protection?
Shotgun or pistol with a low-grain bullet. You don't want your bullets to go through walls and injure other family members or neighbors if you do have to shoot an invader. Hollow-points tend to have a lot of stopping power.
