i just got a call from an elder from my old kh, i have not been to meeitngs since april 2007. i recently took my daughter to thier first b-day party, (their cousin), anyways, they want to ask if i celebrate b-day now.

i told them i'd speak with them later.

so, since i ahve been inactive since april can they df me?????

my year so farwonder if anyone else had as sucky of a 2007 as i did?

aka for all of you worldly non witness folk who want to know how it is being with an ex jwhere you go, a little sample, unfiltered.. .

january just got done taking the gf to see the familyfeeling good because the experience made us closer, finally sharing a piece of what i came from.

Sorry to hear about your 2007, but here's my 2007: Found wife drunk in bed with another JW on the day i found out my dad had cancer and she knew about my dad. I left the JW's, got accused of all kinds of false crap. filed for divorce, ex-wife broke into the house and stoled all kinds of stuff. Had to file two police reports against her. dad recovering from brain cancer egt hit by a car!!!!! And thats just a portion!!!!

Did You Ever Think The Demons Were Bothering You?

when i was younger i used to have terrible convulsions and hear "voices".

my mom was convinced that it must be "the demons".

the congregation prayed over me and eventually i went to a doctor that was able to figure out why i was so sickly and presto: everyone's prayers were answered..

Yes they bothered me but, I realized they were the elders and not demons!

i think there's a lot of them.

they realize that they are not being treated so good.

they might've been elders and ministerial servants or pioneers or bethelites in the past.

I totally agree. Funny thing is that now that I don't go to meetings they like to call me and complain about how bad they are treated. I just listen and tell them "whatever".
