In my old Hall, if you went to clean the Hall on Saturday you could not wear shorts or t-shirts with any logo. I wore an In-N-Out t-shirt (hamburger joint) and they made me turn it inside out.
Sisters in the Hall would get a hard time if they put highlights in thier hair.
We had 2 elders that liked going to Strip Clubs. I had an ideal but it wasn"t until i saw them, by accident that it was confirmed. I didn't say anything, just laughted. One of the edlers got caught by his wife but he did not rat out his buddy, who was on his "committee'. he got a slap on the wrist and after three years (i believe) was an Elder again.
i'm curious how many people do this and what is the most that you ever wrote down that you didn't do?.
my highest was 12 when i only went out 1 hour .
I always put 12-15 hours per month when it was only about 5-8. I'd show up for field service and after the field service meeting i'd goof around for about an hour before knocking on a few doors, then kill time drinking coffee....i mean RV's!!!! When i first become a Dub, i was honest though.
this just really shook me up.

my wife and i split from the witnesses about 2 years now....and now she says we need a divorce asap!
she doesn't want to work thru it.
lately and for awhile she has been amazingly aggressive to me.....and pretty much everyone else she knows.
Please be patient and don’t do anything dumb. I know what you are going through. My wife and I broke up last year and she was my first love. I had every crazy feeling but you will get though it!!! i have a theory on why people become jw's.
there are 3 different reasons:.
1: you were born into a family of jw's.
Married into it.
Divorced out of it!

dunlap was one of the victims of the witch hunts that took place in 1980 and was disfellowshipped for "apostasy", along with members of the translation department.
in raymond franzs book crisis of conscience, ray franz discusses ed dunlaps experience in detail.

when rutherford published (in defiance of russell's will) a phoney posthumus final volume of russell's studies in the sciptures (the finished mystery) problems began which eventually resulted in criminal prosecution for watchtower society administrators.. certain passages in this book were so anti-government as to represent the society's views as dangerous to national security.. chastened, rutherford backed down on his rhetoric by excluding from future reprintings the offending passages.. plus--rutherford published a feckless appeal to the bible students associates to buy war bonds!

why is it that jw's are so afraid to talk to anyone who questions the beliefs, or in general says anything bad about the org.
case in point here i have a friend his family are all jw's not the best of the crowd but they are trying, anyway his brother and i were talking and i was telling him about how some of my cousins have left the org, and even showed him a funny picture of all of us wearing jehovah's witness protection program t-shirts there were about 7 of us in the photo.
he ended the converstation very rapidly and left.. i was not really telling him anything that bad, and i was just mostly joking with him, honestly i didn't think he was all that much of a jw, before he got married he lived with his gf, i have heard he likes to party, and for the most part you'd swear he wasn't a jw, not even baptized.
What's going on Andre?! I work with a couple of Dub's (i hired them a while back not caus ethey wherer Dub's but good workers) anyways, these guys love to party and go to strip clubs but if i make a simple joke about the WTS they get all wierd on me. Just the other day one of them asked me if i was going to vote in Novemeber. Once i told him i was, he freak out!!!!!!!! He avoided me for a few days until we went out to drink after work. He started to preach to me about going back to meeting and how voting was wrong, any ways after a few hours i had to call his wife to pick him u casue he was hammered! This is the best part, as he stumbled out the door he invited to go to see/hear him give a talk the next day!!!!
