Okay, Everything that Mommie Dark expresses is exactly the attitude that saddens me. Surely in the back of your mind somewhere you have something left that says that you might be wrong. The things that you are saying are totally blasphemous and you can't go back. Rethink what you are saying and telling others, you could be held accountable one day.

larc, Your right I was responding to you, Joelbear and Stacey. Joel said he has his own personal philosophy which may or may not include The Bible. Stacey said she has dedided that the Christian path is not for her. I am upset that you could have a point in your life where you all believed whole heartedly The Bible but because of the twisted view the WT has put on The Bible and the lies they have told the have spoiled your faith in The Word. They got you in because of the good things that they said and by some of the right things that they believe. The WT has their own agenda in my opinion it's $ and they will do whatever it takes to lure you in to go door to door pedalling their material and recruiting more to pedal. They took something good and pure and perverted it for their own use to control. You can go to another Church and believe and you can be in control not an organization. The WT and it's followers caused many to stumble and they will be held accountable. I just hope that you see what a comfort The Bible can be not a burden to be studied but a joy. What a joy we have Jehovah to turn to when we have a problem or are scared, He is always their for us. I would hate to have to go through this life alone. God bless you!

I find it very sad that almost everyone can go from such a devote belief to disbelief or almost indifference. Regardless of NWT or KJ version the same message is there if you can just translate the sheols and hades and a few other key points. I think that we all agree that the NWT had an agenda behind it and that it is wrong. So go from there. Any Bible that a Christian book store sells is going to be acceptable by any church. The intro to study Bibles should tell you who wrote the footnotes. At the church I attend we all have different versions and we compare all the time. We read are study guides and discuss what they say. My Bible class consists of us only reading scripture and discussing it, that's probably something that you need. You also need to pray that God will guide you, he got you out of the org. He will guide you where you need to be. I will pray for you.

We know from the Bible that demons do exist. They are here because God cast them out of heaven along with Satan. They are tempting us and we have the free will to sin or to remain faithfull. Just because we sin sometimes does not mean that we are possessed though and not all temptation comes directly from Satan or demons we are tempted when others influence us. Tarot cards, psychics, soothsayers, ouiji boards are a way to get into us. We open ourselves up to that realm if we dabble in those things of the devil.

Hey, I'm new too. I am a Christian who has a wonderful young disfellowshipped JW staying with my husband and I. I have been trying to talk to him about the WT and I have been praying for him. It will be so hard for him if he will believe because his parents will once again turn their backs on him. Do any of you think that he would be open to look at this site?

American Witnesses face difficult time over flag
by ozziepost inreports are coming from the united states that small flags and flag badges are being distributed at schools and other public places.. many are refusing to take a flag and this is causing resentment and hurt feelings.
not wishing to offend, witnesses are asking their elders what they should do.. cheers,.

I think that most people don't really care if you don't fly a flag outside of your house, but if you refuse to take a symbol of our country you are saying in so many words that you are not on our side. Even this web site has a red white and blue ribbon. Is that sinful?
