Never let me down again

when i decided to stop going meetings, i text sister who was a good friend, and told her that i wasnt continuing with meetings and the reason why, because of child abuse policy etc.

i asked her if she would like to stay in touch.

she said that even though she agreed with me, she's 'not one to keep in contact, and i'm not one to judge either'.

gluhwein (mulled wine) .... a pungent, rich, spicy wine, traditional in germany and rather tasty.. as follows:.

1 bottle of red wine.

3/4 cup of water.

jw kids = "children of the corn".

growing up as a j-dub, i have seen all of the special treatment most jw kids and elders kids recieved in general.

while, no you were not allowed to celebrate holidays, etc, being a jw child meant you could do no wrong.

when i for my hearing where i had to tell the elders what i had been up to, they asked real personal questions such as where did you do it?, did you go down on him?, were you drunk?, and the big one did you use any toys or vegetables as sex tools?

now i don't know about everyone elses disfellowshiping meetings but did this happen for you?.

anyway has anyone experienced similar?

Does praying "work"?

has anybody got any hard evidence that asking for something, through prayer, actually gives them what they were asking for?.

jesus promised to give anything to them that asked.

have you asked for something (in prayer), but it hasn't been given?.

i believe you need faith to pray and have prayers answered...i have no faith,,,there for i do not try to pray...i don't believe it would ever work for me...but then,,maybe for some one else...who knows
