I have posted some but not much. I live in Texas, have one child, a husband and one little dog. Used to come here about every day but since they announced that the board was closing have pretty much stopped posting and come here about once a week. Love to hear all of the garbage about the Society, I am really going to miss being in on the news before any of the JWs get it. We have been out since 2004.

I went in 1991 and the instructors were Woodley & Shropshire (I think that is how you spell it). Shropshire was really a nice guy. He passed away some time ago.
My class was in San Antonio. The person they assigned me to stay with showed me how to put a condom on a guy. Meanwhile she was having an affair with an elder in the congo.

anywho my audio is the same talk right down to experiences while traveling the circuit.....but it is not herd (not sure who).. proving that this is all is a cruel farce perpetrated on the unsuspecting r&f.. but who do yall think are the playwrites of these monologues?.
Not really sure about the outlines that they use for the talks but Barbara Anderson told us that she used to write for the magazines and then someone on the writing committee would approve it.

i've been away to visit my sister and her "worldly" husband after many years of not seeing her...i don't even have her phone number as she lives overseas.
we just had a first family get together.
when she met me at the door i was ready for anything!
Congratulations Witness 007. I am so glad for you to have your sister back. Family is one of the greatest treasures. Don't be too ashamed to apologize, she deserves it and you will feel so much better. When words of apology are said and meant they are beautiful.

Visit a bath house in Turkey, go on a horseback ride through France, float down the Yangtze River, swim in a Loch in Scotland, bicycle through Ireland.

well, i asked him if he felt that everyone else except jw's would die at armageddon.
Thank goodness I am not going insane. How could someone be a witness all their life and then say that they were never taught that? I think he musn't have been listening or looking very well.

I was speaking with a dfed jw tonight and he wants to return to JW land. He believes they have the truth. Well, I asked him if he felt that everyone else except JW's would die at Armageddon. He said that he was never taught that and he was raised a witness. Didn't and don't they teach that unless you are a JW at the end times you will die?
It scares me and makes me happy that I am forgetting so much. Of course, I think that I have forgotten more than he will ever know.
He has read one chapter of the now is finished the great mystery by CT Russell and said that it makes him happy that the witnesses are constantly changing because Russell said that was the sign of a true religion. One that doesn't plateau one that keeps learning and growning. So, all the new light is a good thing. Explained to him that the current teaching for the generation has now returned to one that they were teaching in the 40's but he just didn't care. Arguing with a dub is the most frustrating thing in the world. The don't have any reasoning ablility.
But, back to the orginal question, they do teach that unless you are a JW you will die at Armageddon right? I haven't lost my mind have I?

There are times that it feels like we have exauhsted every other source of punishment for our son. When that happens he will get a swat on the rear but it makes me feel like I have failed when it goes that far.
Though as yet the best punishment that we have found is to tell him that he will have to sleep in his own room. A couple of weeks ago he was behaving really badly and kept telling me he hates me. That really really hurts to have your five year old say something that ugly. So, I sat him down and told him that the next time he said that he would be sleeping in his own room. Well, the next evening on the way to bed I was gently teasing him. He got mad at me and then said "I hate you." Immediately, he began apologizing and crying terribly. I made him sleep in his bed in his room that night. He hasn't said it again.
And, yes, he is five and he still sleeps in our room (not in our bed). We really do love to have him near.
