Are they asking the R&F to follow their course in taking this resolution? What do they think is the purpose of telling everyone that mumbo jumbo?

Congratulations, Leftbehind.
I love your letter.
Sorry, you have to deal with the family shunning you. Like AuldSoul said, someday they might change their tune.

Oh and Princess, from the kindness of your reply, it tells me that you should probably still be a JW. You fit perfectly with the rest of those lovely people.

Uuhhh, I really hope you were exaggerating here. Losing control and intending to hurt someone else is road rage.
Na, but I am glad he got hit. He had it coming and he didn't get hurt just bent up his bicycle.

So, to me it seems that they don't ever really do door to door work they just ride around in cars until 10:30 for break and then they stop at noon. Meanwhile, gossiping about whoever is in want of heart.
What amazes me is that all that driving around somehow makes them better than everyone else.

So, on Tuesday afternoon I am driving in downtown Austin. There was this car in front of me that must have been lost and was completely stopped. I decided I did not want to keep waiting behind him. I put on my blinker and turned left, from a one way street onto a two way street. All of a sudden I hear this guy on a bicycle screaming at me. I was in the far left lane when I turned and he was passing me on the left. I didn't see him. I immediately said I am sorry man, I didn't see you. Well, he starts cussing me out profusely calling me a f***ing B**** over and over again. I got really MAD. So, in a blind rage I start to turn the car around to actually run him over this time for real and intentionally, when all of a sudden a car pulls onto the same road and runs the guy over. His bicycle is completely bent up and he gets up still yelling at me. He said it was my f***ing fault that this happened. He didn't even get mad at the guy who hit him. He was too busy yelling at me still.I was sorry, I didn't see him but he broke the law. I had my blinker on and I was in the far left lane. When he got hit the by the other car he wasn't even watching me anymore. The stupid Lance Armstrong wanna be might want to learn how to ride a bicycle. It took a bit to calm down but afterwards I was able to have a good laugh about how karma works.
I love bicycling but I think that if you are going to ride on busy streets you need to obey the traffic laws just as much as everyone else.

I cannot watch movies that are based on a true story, I cry like a baby. War movies get to me real bad, even watching the movie Lord of War. I cried. Anything that shows how cruel humanity can be makes me depressed for days.
And then the other day, I watched The Englishman that Went Up a Hill But Came Down a Mountain, and I was crying. Though, I was drinking and I think that might of had something to do with it.

This Past Sunday My Wife Took Me To The Elders!
by enlightenedcynic inearly sunday morning, around 1:30 a.m., my wife wakes me and says that she can't sleep and needs to talk with me.
i say ok and she proceeds to tell me that she wants a seperation.
i was hurt, but not shocked, because our relationship is not that close at this point after 14 yrs of marriage.

I may be totally off base here and should not even say this, but there has been one thought running through my head since I started reading this thread. Is she building a case against you because she might be having an affair and she is looking for a way out of the marriage, making you look like the bad guy?
I base this on two of your comments: 1. She hasn't had sex with you for at least 11/2 months. 2. She is looking for evidence of apostacy or spiritual endangerment against you.
If I were you I would think about this possibility. My sister in law, who was cheating on my brother in law for years had the exact same hang ups about sex and didn't want to have sex with him, either. Also, she was continually finding fault with her husband, telling her family what a wretched man he was. He forgave her but they don't seem like the happiest people in the world to me.
Sorry, if this is totally off base. I certainly don't mean any offense by it. I have just seen it happen many many times.
