i want a copy of the "x-mas" issue of the golden age; the issue that describes that dubs can practice xmas, but i need the actual paper maybe with a note on dub stationary that it is an actual copy.. it's easy to find the text on-line, but i have yet to find a hard copy in a kh library.. what will brooklyn do if i ask for one?
i'm serious because i made this claim and now i can't prove it.

One of the instructions is always something like "If you notice that a person has become ill (has an attack etc.) DO NOT call 911 Emergency but either take the person to 1st aid or bring one of the brothers in first aid to the person." You get the idea.
The question is, who the Fark are the brothers in 1st aid and what are their qualifications? I know for an absolute fact that at least one of the brothers this W/E is not an MD, and in fact is a auto mechanic; yet he is given authority to perform triage?
Interestingly enough, these brothers also offer to assist the sisters that need a rest or are breast feeding their babies. They wander in and out at will.
In my ignorance I ASSumed (at my first Assembly) that these are trained medical personnel. They are not. Anyone know what's up with this other than an enormous reaming the first time someone dies because witnesses have to check before calling 911?

incidentally think it's interesting how the bible is full of people who were involved in "pagan" governments, including joseph, 2nd in charge of all of egypt, to nehemiah, to daniel, erastus (treasurer of corinth), the eunuch "of great authority" under the queen of ethiopia, the soldier whom john the baptist instructed to be happy with his wages, etc... anyway, i wonder what the reasoning is on all this..

Have lots of cars and enjoy describing how I will be towing one or the other to an out-of-state car show. I also enjoy complaining about the fact that Ministerial School was switched from a location 20 minutes away from my home to a place 45-60 minutes away from my home. I tell the elders that I am "unable to travel such a long distance at night."
Anyway I used to cart the Dubs around in a super SUV (like a Suburban but better) but found that they left it like a freakin goat pen inside.
I have no clue what they did while I was driving, but it was an hours long affair to clean up after them. It got go bad that I started bringing the Corvette to service.

How could I be expected to keep a straight face listrening to the Dubbies describe the difference between "righteous" and "self-righteous". The sad part is they are unaware of just how ignorant they are of the dealings of the organization to which they devote such a large portion of their lives.

The Dubs are to put it mildly, eager to watch 99.9% of the worlds population die a terrible death.
Does that need to be repeated before you realize how far from the truth they really are?
Got to listen to the brother giving the talk today describe how "warm" are the hearts of the Dubs and how "frozen" are the hearts of the other 99.99% of the worlds population. If "warm" hearts can be responsible for pure wickedness like that of the Dubs, imagine how EVIL the rest must be....Sure there are lots of farked up folks but with the Dubs almost 100% have caught the wicked bug.

by M.J. innot sure how many hits i'll get on an english db, but here it goes.... i'd like to start building up a little collection of the better songs from the genre.
i used to listen to a bit of mana, los caifanes and a few others i can't remember back in college but haven't really been exposed to it much at all since.
oh yeah, i did download something from enanitos verdes which was pretty good, come to think of it.

Los Caifanes are now Los Jaguares. They remind me of where Springsteen was back in 72 or so. Raw and poetic. My favorite album by them is "Primer Instincto" Worth the $. Also check out La Leys MTV live album. Three dudes (lead sings in english, spanish and french) backed by a 50-60 piece orchestra. The whole album is tremendous
Super tight, powerful music. There might be a video or the MTV live performance as well which is worth the $
