saturday, i am with my son, my sister-in-law, and my 2 1/2 year old nephew, trying to walk out of the arena to return my lunch cooler to the car.

the exit we use is a "one way only, no re-entry permitted gate.

ok, i'm fine with that, i just want to leave the building through this corridor, not re-enter the same way.

At our circuit assemblies which are held in an auditorium that shares a parking lot with a beautiful marina, there is always a parking spot left open with a "No Parking" sign. The spot is directly in front of the main exit. One day arriving late from lunch I parked in the spot and moved the sign to the spot next to mine. That was good for a laugh when the Bro now in the "no parking" spot got tongue lashed by the parking lot overlords.

Did You Take Your "Ministry" Seriously?

since all jehovah's witnesses are "ministers" and are to act like "watchmen" so as to not be bloodguilty before jehovah god, would you say that you, personally were a fine zealous preacher?

did you make sure that you accurately kept your house-to-house records up to date?

did you make sure you were back in a timely fashion once you placed literature?

Hi Min There has been a change. Only Elders are considered Ministers, the rest have "ministries". I've been pioneering for the last two months. I have never shown up for the car groups and always turn in my 63 1/2. I count time watching porn, chatting here, working, etc. Pioneering is great!

An Elder Just Knocked on My Door

i didn't bother to answer.

it's probably because i told my ex last week that i will personally sue the individual elders if they meet with my daughter again to counsel her without my parental consent.

we have joint custody and that means they need joint parental consent to counsel a minor.. i am filing for sole custody of our 12 year old daughter and will be serving him with the legal paperwork next week.

Are you sure it was an Elder? Honestly,it goes against everything I'm aware of about the Dubz to send an Elder for a private one-on-one sit-down wth a single (or Married!) sister.

she is a jw, who does not believe in celebrating birthdays and singing this song.. "razzoo's settles lawsuit over religious firing.".

What happened to you, to not to "feel the love" from the "friends"?

thinking back at the start of me questioning that perhaps the "friends" were not really true friends at all, were some experiences i will relate below: please share those that you have experienced.. after i had carpel tunnel surgery and was in a cast.....not one of the "friends" asked me about it?

at first i thought they wanted to be "polite" and not draw attention to the fact of the cast...but thinking more about it afterwards...it was just plain unloving and uncaring.

After the sixth or seventh JW wedding reception I had brought presents to, but never received a "Thank You" card for, it suddenly dawned on me that they are so different from normal society (and not in a good way either) that they aren't even responsible for their actions anymore. I very simply view each and every JW as a sociopath until they prove otherwise or not.

Just finished seeing Michael Moore's SiCKO

i just got home from bellaire, mi where the first us premiere screeing of sicko took place.

mm has shown the film to a few private groups, but he specifically said that we were the first "paying group" to see it.

there were two showings - i got to see the first showing at 1:00.. first let me say that this film is not political in any way.

Nice! A Company I am involved with is providing accounting services to a secondary medicare provider. The profit they rake in is fill a tub with $100 bill type sickening, and that's AFTER they piss away more money in a day than Mobil Oil makes in a year. Maybe not quite that much but you get the idea. The ironic part is that all the Insurance Agents selling policies for them have at least one bankrupcy in their past, usually over unpaid medical bills.

it's fairly well established that organized social activity is almost non-existent in kingdom halls worldwide.. .

the purpose of going to the hall and preaching is to worship god.

yet, the wt leave out a critical component to their.

We get invited *rarely* but who cares? Like there's REALLY someone in the Hall you want to hang out with? Holy Crap I have to spend HOURS picking up any movie that isn't PG, hiding books etc. every time one comes over the house, on the fear that I'll get ratted out to the elders for watching 1980's "Miami Vice" DVDs or having Samurai swords on display. Ridiculous.
