  NOW, a true JW always writes his or her name in their personal magazine right? So let's imagine if the fourth Gen son of the local PO leaves his "Awake" complete with juicy answers to the above questions open and in a place where it is sure to be found by a fanatic Dub.
  
  NOW, of course we could have written that person's name in our "Awake" by accident right? But guess who will take the hard fall when everyone learns of their "habit"?

  Bethel layoffs in 2008 - 300+ and counting

  We had two brothers booted from Bethel in my ex-congo!
  
  The first is in his 30's and has no real construction skills (he has never has a job since he landed there at 18 y/o) so he was booted in the first round of layoffs last year.
  
  He and his wife were sent to where the "need is greater" and are currently living in a garage apartment first because neither one graduated from high school (they won't need it in the new system) and second because they are constantly switching jobs as the Org changes meeting schedules. It seems that the "worldlies" are unwilling to cater to the constant changing of book studies and time off requests.
  
  
  Now his brother Jonathan is a different story altogether. Jonathan was working as a non-union air conditioning repairman and had built up a very nice little career. One day Bethel called (after firing his brother) and announced that they had "noticed his spirituality" and invited him up. He and his wife quit their jobs and sold their crap and moved to Brooklyn.
  
  Guess what happened?
  
  After working there for a year +- and coincidentally completing heating and refrigeration renovations on the four buildings and the Saenger that just hit the "for-sale" market, Jonathan has been fired from Bethel. He is back in FL in the dead of winter looking for an A/C job. There are no A/C jobs in FL in the winter.

  Mardi Gras Day Parade! Who's got the biggest set ?

  my wife, daughter and i went to the parade today and had a blast!

  fun times and not a jw in sight!

  i even walked away with the biggest set of beads in the whole damn parade and all i had to show was my guns.

  The thing that sucked for me was as soon as we got back in the car it was time to "put on the new personality" and the beads and fun got packed away out of sight. What the fark kind of moron has a problem with parades and plastic beads anyway?
  
  I really hate having to hide all the time. I mean I REALLY hate it.

  Daycare went from bad to worse..teachers working for "free". Amusing to me.

  remember me being excited about my new daycare job working with children?

  remember when i had to report them for hitting the 3 year old in the mouth for not covering his mouth about 3 weeks after i started?.

  i hadn't said much more about this job because i was trying to make it work.

  $200 week per kid and they can't pay you? That's farking insane.
  
  BTW I just enrolled my daughter at the daycare run at the local Catholic Church. Full sized indoor basketball court in the gym, cafeteria, indoor pool.....$115 week and the Director has a MAsters in child Psych.
  
  All the time I'm thinking "why the hell am I wasting my time with those JW morons?"

  i was told not to even look at them when i studied, but i did not buy the satan stuff about them and said well what have the watchtower got to worry about if they have the truth and no skeletons in the closet ?

  i was quite tempted to speak to them and felt rude and judgemental , what did you used to think about them when you were dubs in the trufff ?

  It would be more hurtful to the Org if they dressed in WT brown suits, put on a fake convention badge and hung out in front of the Convention Center, smoking, hugging other Dudes, drinking a Coke hidden in one of those wino-bags etc.
  
  The WT is allllllll about appearances as all of us know.
  
  They couldn't give a crap if you *stumble* one of the Bros, but put on a show like that in front of 100 different places would really cause them pain.

  we here in the fl panhandle were "blessed" to have some 25 ish y/o brothers from tx move here recently.

  they had the usual welcoming party two weeks ago, and all the young bros from mobile to fort waalton showed up to welcome them!

  the only thing was, there was no elder to supervise!

  Since then I havn't been to a single book study, caught the first half of a Sunday meeting, and showed up an hour late at another one.
  
  They don't bother me and I don't know why.
  
  I've asked every Witness I know if they feel a "Clean" Christian would talk about oral sex in front of a small child. Not one has answered "yes" and all go strangely silent when I ask them "well why would the Elders do it then during a Sunday study?"
  
  I just enrolled my daughter in a Catholic Church day-care; would anyone care to speculate what they might do to me for that?

  Local paper was just filled with some Dude who shot six horses and 9 dogs at his neighbor's farm; seems he got off on the screams.
  
  Couple of home invasions this weekend, crooked small town politicians, local Minister arrested with crack and pot, some Dude arrested on tax-evasion because he felt his "evolution park" was a church, Vietnamese guys threw his four infant children off a bridge into the Bay..........
  
  Seriously strange times in what should be a tranquil small town, and I can't even blame it on Rednecks!

  So the thread title is only accurate as far as the states, FL & TX. The brothers were 25ish and the girls were not sisters, but worldly 17 yr old girls. Whatever, the whole event is made even more sleazy sounding because these young men are morally bankrupt hypocrites. If they can be exposed it would be a good thing. I only say this because they were abusing underage girls. Someone needs to jerk them up short.<<
  
  Actually Bud it was a P*A*R*T*Y, you know with all the Brothers from at least four different congoes there?
  
  Next time I'll ask them for their ID so I can get the exact age for you, in the meantime I sense a slight control problem.

  We here in the FL panhandle were "blessed" to have some 25 ish y/o Brothers from TX move here recently.
  
  They had the usual welcoming party two weeks ago, and all the young Bros from Mobile to Fort Waalton showed up to welcome them! The only thing was, there was no Elder to supervise!
  
  One of the Brothers had been encouraged to provide some *worldly* girls for amusement purposes, so he brought two 17 year olds, a Korean girl, and a Mexican girl both from the local HS.
  
  They're worldly right? so the Bros are not going to get ratted out to the Elders.
  
  To make a long story short, after loading them up with alcohol, and doing things that the WTS would be very unhappy about, the Bros dumped them outside the house at around 6AM.
  
  I've got pics (the morons are distributing them!) and plan on sending copies to all, even the Police.
  
  Now do you STILL doubt the power of dismantling the WT from the inside?
  
  BTW, the hypocrites had a SECOND welcoming party last Saturday, but this time the Elders were invited. This was their *official* welcome.
