WHOO WHOA wait a second here! I am reading these posts and I had no idea this was Bethel? Bells? Allowance day? Laundry day? I did not know it was like that?? Everyone describes it like one big college dorm but sounds like some kind of fancy jail to me. I learn something new every day

Beautiful pics! I ended up showing these girls sitting next to me in my psych class. We all thought you looked amazing and it sure beat listening to another boring lecture on sigmund freud.
Congratulations again! And whoo hoo...'searching for the garter' huh? You would of never seen such a "wordly practice" done at a witness wedding. Plus you had it outside? That was so cool! Sure beats the kingdom hall and having to listen to a brother give a boring 45 minute talk on the God given union of marriage. YAWN!

1. So I purchased a new laptop 2 weeks ago and besides the 10 viruses I had a brother in my hall get rid of (I didn't know thats what that anti-spyware thing a magig was for!?) its been running pretty good. But now that I have been on there and of course have been rummaging through "apostate sites" if I ever need the brother to do work on my laptop for me again will he be able to know that I have been in such sites??? (I know, I know, find someone else to work on it for me, but he's a computer tech and free labor!)
2. I met this great guy, sweet, fun loving, just an all around good guy but he's super religious and at this point in my life, I want nothing to do with religion at all! Could it work with me and him? He says he supports me and trusts that I will "find my way back to the Lord" GAG But let's just say my spiritual journey right now has a few rest stops along the way. How important do you think it is for a couple to share the same religious views?
3. What do you call the chord I see college students carrying around when they want to transfer material from there personal computer to a public one? I need to buy one. Are there different kinds? What is a fair price I should be paying for one?
4. Do you think it is smart for me to try a little harder in keeping up the "good little JW" facade to get my parents off my back; Maybe get out in service more (or at least pretend thats where I am going) comment more at meetings, etc? Lately, they have not been so willing to give me money and let me borrow there car from time to time (I have my own but its a potato bucket)

Lies, Damn Lies, and "Experiences"
by AlmostAtheist inonce, discussing the recently passed circuit assembly.
he had interviewed a young pioneer that was able to pioneer without a car.
she "arranged her schedule" (translation: bummed rides well in advance) to make sure she had a way to and from the hall.

WAIT A SECOND! I heard the exact same story line except it was with a brother? You know what, come to think of it I used to go to both the english and french assemblies (at the time I was learning the language) and would hear pretty much the same "expierences" in both assemblies just different faces. HMMMM
My last assembly had a brother and his wife on stage bragging about how they keep their lives simple She drives a Navigator and he drives a mercedez!
Being able to move up the WT corporate ladder: priceless.

Something I want to tell you apostates
by LeftBehind ini want you to know that you have destroyed a family because of your lies about jehovah and his organization.
a family member went apostate and has turned his back on jehovah.
he told us he is never coming back and i know he went and visited internet sites.

-finding a username, password etc?
Oh yeah, he'll be back.

you own more suits than jeans.
you leave the movie theater after hearing the word "Damn" more than once.
you are more in love with the fact that you're fiance is an elder and overlook his receding hair line and yellow teeth.
Hey! This is FUN!
you can't even spell Witness.
you rather stay in your car and freeze to death after it breakdowns instead of going inside the local church to use the phone ("Where will you be found at Armageddon???")
raise your hand at the DMV when they call your name instead of just getting up ("SiS. Richards in the back please")
you try to memorize the song to be sung at next week's meeting so you can look cool cause you're singing without your songbook
get married before you have learned about the "birds and the bees"
think condoms are worldy

WAS YOUR JW HOME DYSFUNCTIONAL?
by stillAwitness insome days are just worse than others: my mother screamed at me for like 10 minutes because i was running late for the bookstudy!
i don't even wanna go to these things!
and ever since that damn km that came out a couple months ago telling family heads the importance of having a regular family bible study my father won't even let a week pass by without us all gathered around the living room doing a question and ansewr out of the secret to family happiness book.

Trouble For Richie
by RichieRich inas many of you know, i have a myspace.com account.. apparently, while i was out last night, someone called my mother and informed her of my activities on myspace.
my mother called and asked me for my login info, and was shocked to see me, and around 40 witnesses in my area having active profiles.
contents of these profile ranged from a few pictures to downright self-incrimination.
