I wanna see it. But I'll save the $5.50 and wait till it goes to the dollar movie. But you are so right about scary movies just being really good sound effects and a quick image of something

The hills have eyes
by Elsewhere ini went and saw this yesterday evening.
i normally don't like horror movies... i usually find them to be stupid because the "scary" moments are always just moments when the movie makes a loud noise while flashing a quick distorted image.
as i said before, i normally don't go see horror moves, but the previews for this one caught my attention so i thought i'd spend $5.50 on a matinee.. the movie did start out like i suspected... the victims first started making some spectacularly stupid decisions and then the "scary" parts were nothing but sudden loud noises accompanied by a distorted image that was flashed for a fraction of a second... but then it changed!

"Deliverance at Hand" District Convention Invitation
by Elsewhere intruthsetsonefree has provided spiritual food at the proper time by emailing me these scans.... this is the little hand-bill invitation for the next district convention that we've been hearing about.
considering the fact that most jws never actually read such things before handing them out, i suspect that many people will be given these things but never actually told when and where the convention will be held!
on the back it says: "the local congregation of jehovahs witnesses invites you to attend the convention that will be held at the time and location shown here.

And there appears to be a polar bear grazing in the field at the back. Has the Watchtower artist been watching 'Lost'?
matt can go in shorts and a t-shirt to show off his zombie tattoos.
Does anyone have the dates/times/locations of district conventions in the midwest US?
They should be printed in the last page of one of the newest WT magazines sometime this month for all the dates and locations for all of the U.S.A By the way..is this something new? I don't ever remember there being inviations for conventions before. Only the memorial

Do I and Fellow EX-DUBS need LIVING WILLS?
by stillAwitness ini don't have a blood card anymore, have not filled out any of the no blood wt forms but i have come to the realization that if i don't have a living will, my parents can still have the deciding factor if i ever get into a situation where i may need blood.
is this true?
i mean, would the hospital allow them to tell them to let me die b/c of the blood issue even though i have no documents supporting such a decision?

If so, can this effect ex-dubs who still have immediate family members who are wittnesses??

Chico,
How would your family know you still have the card or not? That seems a bit strange that you would carry it anyway. That's taking a pretty big risk. I threw my out a couple years ago. I saw it in my purse one day and I was like WTF is this thing still here for and threw it out the window of my car.

I don't see the need for you to have to post if you are busy. As long as you can try to keep us somewhat updated on what is going on with the case I think that is fair enough particulary for those who have contributed. Otherwise Good luck and keep us posted P.S Is that article in the most recent Forbes Magazine? Hmmm.maybe I will post it on the fridge at home
