  Who Is Johannes Greber Anyway?? What is the Society hiding???

  for those of you who have no idea who i am talking about i invite you to take a moment and find out how this person played a part in the translation of john 1:1 for the new world translation.

  regardless of wether you believe in the trinity or not, you will certainly be shocked and disgusted at where the society quotes from this source.. just thought you oughta know!!.

  A look into Greber's background proves most enlightening. In 1923, Greber, a Roman Catholic priest, became interested in communication with spirit beings. These spirits often spoke through his wife, a spirit medium, and told him the Bible was full of errors. The Bible clearly forbids all contact with demons professing to bring messages from God. Knowing this, the Society has even attempted to hinder research about Greber by informing inquirers writing them in 1981, that they do not know where his new Testament can be obtained.3 Yet, we have a copy of an official Watchtower letter sent to the Greber Foundation dated December 20, 1980 thanking them for sending their New Testament and a book entitled COMMUNICATION WITH THE SPIRIT WORLD OF GOD.

  i read somewhere that he did and married because he didn't want attention for being single.. justahuman - but super nonetheless.

  Told wife that I don't like going to the meeting

  finally said it out loud even though my actions have been showing it for quite some time.

  a fight ensued and now she isn't talking to me.

  the wierd thing is when i just didnt go she didn't say much (she hasn't been for over 2 mos for a medical reason) but god forbid i should actually vocalize that i don't want to go... i didn't want to give her any fuel to call me an apostate so i just blamed discouragement and my dislike of the elders which she already knows.

  Looking for advice for birthday party

  okay, so after coming to an agreement with my wife about letting our kids do holidays our son is having his birthday coming up this weekend.

  i'd like to take him out for a lunch or something with a couple of his friends but i have no clue what to do or where to go.

  isn't that sad?

  i have, i got invited on saturday and i turned it down the same day lol.

  By going to the memorial you are just adding fuel to their fire. They love to gloat over the memorial attendance.

  Yet every aspect of that ritual is the exact opposite of what Christ asked to be done in his remembrance.

  If you drink the wine or eat the bread as Christ commanded Jehovah will get mad and kill you.
