Yes, sometimes I have to take a break from forums like this because it starts to get to me. It starts bringing up issues for me that I thought I had worked through. Sometimes that's good because I need to deal with it and sometimes that's bad because sometimes the timing isn't ideal. So, I take a break when I need it and come back when I can. I try to offer support when I can, but sometimes that is really hard for me. But if I'm not willing to offer support for others, how can I ask for support when I need it?

The best kind of dinner that you can have with Jehovah's Witnesses is one where they don't show up. -

If a JW Came To Your Door How Would You Handle It?
by minimus injehovah's witnesses have never come to my door but they have come to my girlfriends door.
i have coached her as to what to say or ask but it appears that they always seem to come when she's not there.
.....just curious would you get into it with a jehovah's witness at your door especially if it was someone you did not know?.

I would call the police and charge them with trespassing. I wrote a cease and desist letter and ordered them to put me on their do not call list.

Exactly! My point in posting this ... it's hard to imagine the Watchtower sounding more ridiculous than they already do ... until you read it in Nigerian Pidgin!

So, the Watchtower Study Article, "Making Christian Marriage a Success" can best be enjoyed when reading it in the language of Nigerian Pidgin. It will absolutely make your day! https://www.jw.org/pcm/wetin-we-get/magazine/watchtower-study-august-2016/you-fit-enjoy-your-marriage/
The famous paragraphs 7 and 8:
THINK HOW E DEY FEEL AND WETIN E NEED
7, 8. (a) Which advice Bible give about sex for marriage? (b) Why e good make husband and wife know how the other person dey feel and wetin e need?
7 Bible give better advice about sex to people wey don marry. (Read 1 Corinthians 7:3-5.) E good make love dey make the two of dem think about how the other person dey feel and wetin e need. If husband no get this kind love for im wife, e go hard the wife to enjoy sex for the marriage. Bible tell husband sey make dem ‘dey sabi how dem suppose live with their wife.’ (1 Pet. 3:7) E no good make dem force each other but make their body first move dem to do am. Many times, e fit be sey na the man body dey first move am before the woman. But dem need to wait until two of dem want am.
8 Even though sey Bible talk about love play, e no talk about the kind love play wey husband and wife go play or where dem go play am reach. (Song of Sol. 1:2; 2:6) Jehovah servant wey don marry suppose dey think about how im husband or wife dey feel and wetin e need.Let's hear it for "love play" and "wetin e need"!

JWs are a group of blind people aimlessly wandering in the dark, relying only on the guidance of seven men who claim they are the only ones who can see, but in reality, they're just making up shit to tease the vulnerable.

22 fascinating maps that show how Americans speak English differently across the US
by blondie inhttp://www.msn.com/en-us/lifestyle/smart-living/22-fascinating-maps-that-show-how-americans-speak-english-differently-across-the-us/ss-bbwqtug?li=bbnb7kz&ocid=iehp .
everyone knows americans don't agree on pronunciations.. that's great, because regional accents and dialects are a major part of why american english is so interesting.. josh katz, a former ph.d. student of statistics at north carolina state university, published a group of awesome visualizations of professor bert vaux and scott golder's linguistic survey, which looked at differences in american dialects (via detsl on /r/linguistics).. his results were first published on the abstract, the nc state university research blog.
the complete set of katz's maps, updated with the results from more than 350,000 new survey responses, are compiled in the new book "speaking american," publishing october 25 from houghton mifflin harcourt.. katz gave business insider permission to publish some of the coolest maps from his collection..

I would like to know what everyone calls this:
I grew up in the South and we called it a buggy, where I live now, they call it a cart or a shopping cart.
Also, Missouri gal here ... and they say "pop", but I have heard Missourians from the other side of the state call it "soda". In Texas, we called it all "coke" ... as in ... what kind of coke would you like to drink?

More Anti Tight Pants Content
by konceptual99 injust skimming the latest study wt that has been posted and what did i see...?.
i wonder what the message is that they want the flock to take from this picture?.
there is also an article about training younger men to take over responsibilities.

Wild_Thing
I think the message they will get is ... the Watchtower wants you to dress like your dad, don't use hair gel, and those smart phones look suspiciously worldly, too.
