i have a copy of may 1,1998 watchtower.

when i heard a few years ago about the witnesses believing that they were the locusts i thought it was just a rumour; that even for a jw org it was too far fetched.

a few weeks ago i read about it again on this site.

the elders warned me that if any i talk about anything said in the judicial committee or post any pictures i've taken, i'm in big trouble and i don't want these people as enimies!

At least there aren't any comments from people criticizing you for blatantly lying about a recording device. "The ends never justify the means....blah, blah, blah..."

This is so great to have all this documented.

It sounds like you are a lot more comfortable in there while being questioned. This whole thing will make you a stronger person in life in dealing with "authority figures".

well it looks like my plan to fade might not work after all.

yesterday afternoon i was in my office when two elders stopped by for a visit.

they came into my job and began to question me in front of my boss and my new assistant!

They like to say that everyone hates them because, "they are the only ones proclaiming jehovah's name", when it really because of stupid shit like this. At first I was thinking they were trying to intentionally intimidate you, but then I thought, they have no social skills and are completely oblivious of how stupid they look.

Know them for what they are and don't give them any power over you.

The Big Four-Oh Today...

so i'm 40 today.

wow.... not only have i never celebrated my birthday, but my "date-of-birth" (april 20th) has always coincided with that of adolph hitler's and, more recently, the 1999 columbine student massacre.

furthermore my daughter has just informed me that today (4/20) is also inernational marijuana day, apparently to coincide with the term "four twenty," which stands for pot.. anyway, although age 40 has traditionally been one of the major mile-markers in peoples' lives, i feel great!
