  Should post one of the youngest grandson, Chase too. He's 8. I posted one of my granddaughter, Aubrey on another thread...updating... She had a horrific accident 3 years ago...and you would never know it to look at her today.

  Outaservice, I am soooo grateful that both of my children and all 5 of my grandchildren have nothing to do with the borg. Their jw grandfather keeps trying...but none of them are buying into it.

  By the way.... I have a 17 year old grandson...who will be visiting me shortly from Florida. He is going to visit Universities here in MA. He has quite the resume for someone his age... Harvard is interested in him.

  Update on Aubrey. Surgery complete

  well she made it through with flying colors.

  10 hours in surgery.

  she may have to go back and have further surgery down the road on her nose.. but all in all it was a success.

  Just realized this thread didn't start at the beginning. Aubrey had lost control of the bike she was riding and sped downhill right into a tree face first. She shattered every bone in her face.

  Update The accident was 3 years ago.... how time flies!!!!!! Here is Aubrey now. You would never know.... She will be 14 in September.

  What was the last great deal you got?

  i'm leaving this pretty open, but the last great deal i got was a new-quality steif plush (about $70 dollar value, i'd optimistically guess, when it was new).

  for about 2 or 3 bucks.

  at a yard sale i think.

  A full length leather coat in perfect condition for $5.00. I still have it....still in good shape after 5 years.

  I also got a full length black cashmere coat for $75.00 at a consignment shoppe. (easily $800.00 new)

  so i'm working in my showroom and a couple walk in with 3 adorable little kids.

  i worked with them a while...and they left... and i sat back down at my desk to work on the computer.

  a little while passes... and i heard this little voice say "i want my mommy!

  FHN They were in 1 car.... I still can't figure out how they didn't realize they were missing one... I mean they had to strap them into car seats...

  The Mom just said thank you when she came back to get him. I think she was VERY embarrassed.
