  Thanks Daystar, I've already got a digital camera, picked it up pretty cheaply earlier in the year, and took some nice pictures when I was on holiday, but haven't really had the opportunity to take many recently...

  Public Speaking...

  i might need to talk tomorrow, i know it sounds silly but, for a good few years now, i've had major confidence issues when it comes to public speaking, anything else i'm fine with, and sometimes a bit of an extrovert, but put a microphone in front of me, and i'll stutter and fall apart before your eyes.

  well, a friend of mine was meant to give a pub quiz tomorrow, and i've reluctantly been pushed into doing it instead, it's not a big deal at all, it just means reading questions and answers into a microphone, but i know i'm going to balls it up.

  have any of you got any tips for getting over this stupid phobia i seem to have developed?

  Quick apology Jordan - I was not attempting online emasculation by referring to you in my earlier post as if you were a girl - I just assumed given me all know the Jordan in the UK. Sorry mate!

  haha lol. I totally missed it anyway, no worries.... The quiz went almost perfectly, I guess the difference is that I wasn't on a stage and was sitting down, except one ****-up where I was trying to chat up the bar maid, during a break in the quiz, but left the microphone switched on... (I got her phone number though )

  Yeah, me and my group of friends are usually pretty good about making sure the driver stays above the limit... And the people that run the pub know us pretty well, so they usually try to find out who's the driver at the beginning of the night...

  Wise, not really, normally I'm really irresponsible about things. But I made a promise to my Nan when I first passed my driving test that I'd never drink while over the limit. Don't know why it is, but when you promise your Nan something, it's a promise you've got to keep no matter what...

  No, I would never do that. If I do drink I'd usually get a taxi home and go back to get my car the next day.

  Well, I'm leaving in about half an hour, if I don't come back, it means I've probably gotten reeeeeeeaaaaally drunk afterwards and have had to walk through lots of fields to get home... (lol. actually, it's like one field and a kids park, but there's a pikey site in that field, so I gotta be careful)
