i've recently discovered that the great majority of my problems are my own fault.
which leads me to conclude that it is also my own fault that people don't like me very much.. y'all have pretty much seen me at my best and my worst.

i was fascinated and intrigued by the lady, and attracted to her, enough to make that commitment when she explained that it had to be that way or we'd need to go separate ways.. that relationship is presently at a rough spot, one which i described to somebody recently as "that point you reach, where all the spark is gone but you haven't put it out of its misery yet.
" her parents have been visiting from out of state since wednesday (it's saturday as i write) and we haven't seen each other since last monday.
I expect it's hard both to imagine what that situation is like... complete with the unexpected thunderbolt... and to predict how you would handle it, until you've been there.

my lovely wife liza and i had dinner with waiting, her husband, and her son in carabbas italian restraunt.
they are a lovely couple and we really enjoyed our time with them.
their son is an intelligent young man with a lot to say too.
I'm glad to know you enjoyed your visit as much as I did when waiting and hubby came to Dallas last year. I'm 48, and happy to learn at this age that it's considered young, at least in some conversational context. :)

it started about 2 years ago, but its picking up.
i keep catching women looking at me with that look, that look i'm used to only getting from other guys.. this is making me tense, yet in some ways jolly.. i'm not sure what the proper facial expression is to give in return.. i cannot figure out why its happening to me now.

Depends on what you want to happen next. If you want it to die right then and there, then I suspect you've already got the right look on your face. If you want to explore the possibilites, then...
When you catch her looking, look back, not overtly, as turning your head toward her, but kind of looking sideways; but be sure to make eye contact. Do not lose the eye contact! Let a smile begin to slowly appear. Not a big grin, just a subtle hint that you like what you see. Let the eye contact last longer than it normally would if you and somebody happened to glance at each other at the same time. Then, after a suitable time, look away. Then immediately look back again. Now, grin.
