I started and completed a project that I've been putting off for 3 months now. Sad part is that it only took me 2 hours. Will I ever learn?

Thank you so much for those en'lightening' articles, freedomlover. I just had to shake my head. Just when I think I've learned about all there is, something like this comes along. I see these came out after I quit attending. I just can't understand how anyone with even a limited amount of intelligence can't see the hypocrisy written in the pages of these filthy rags. Talk about talking out both sides of their mouth....they've honed it into a fine art.
Has there ever been a thread about these two things before? I am still shocked to learn this.

I remember when the Bible Story book came out and the CO used to make a point of including little kids in parts when he came to visit. Having a pile of little kids at the time, my outspoken children were always called on. One time he was pointing to a picture (I don't remember which one) and asked what the picture was. My 4-year-old son raised his hand and spoke loudly into the mike, "It's a baby suckin' on its mama's tit."
Oh yeah, people were howling and I was under my chair. I don't know where he picked that up from, honest. People remembered that for a long time.

Motivation...
by Jordan ini need motivation to get this work done.
i don't need to do alot, just write a short proposal for a system, it's just so mind numbingly boring, i can't seem to get started.
it's due in for friday, i know i've left it late, and me going out in a little while isn't going to help matters, but i was just wondering what you guys do when you can't seem to motivate yourself into getting something done...

I'm struggling with the same issue. Projects to get done and I click on the posts here every 10 minutes and get distracted. I am a huge procrastinator though and have found that when I get close to a deadline, I have no choice but to kick it in gear and get it done. Seems like the more time I have for a project, the more I drag my feet even though I tell myself each time that I just need to get it done and then mess around but I don't ever seem to listen.

607, Jerusalem completely subjected or destroyed? Which is it? New light?
by JoeGeneration inaccording to the authorized site of the office of public information of jehovah's witnesses www.jw-media.org, beginning in 607 b.c.e., jerusalem was completely subjected to the rule of gentile world powers.
does this indicate that wts is getting away from insisting that jerusalem .
was destroyed in 607, as we know it was not, but rather that it came under the thumb of babylon and marked an end to true rule of a king in the line of david?

This is exactly the argument my husband used with me when I told him about my 607 research. I must admit that history is my worst subject so if is very difficult for me to speak about things like this with any intelligence at all. I just stubbornly cling to what I found out about the date being incorrect because I discovered so many other lies.
