Former or Current Elders, MS, Pioneers.......Did you enjoy these positions?

did you ever enjoy serving in this way or did you view it more as, "it's the thing that's encouraged, so that's what i'll do"?.

im currently a ms and pioneer(will shed this one immediately) and before i ever were appointed these, i always wanted to.

i thought it was a pretty cool thing for someone my age to be instructing the congo, and to have so many look up to you.

I prayed for and received the assignments I wanted. So I was honestly happy to help.

Unsuccessfully getting the elders to quit trying to compete with me was the beginning of the end. The Rank and File members and Circuit Overseers absolutely loved me. 99% of the elders didn't like me. Doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure that situation out. Envy. Sincere "College Boy" was not going to fit into their weak game.

What's your take on "stumbling"...

the phrase "cause for stumbling" often left me bewildered.

tell you what to do counsel you and impose their own opinions on you.

maybe i did something in the past that "stumbled" someone, but aren't we all able to make our own decisions when it comes to conduct and choices ... at least we should be, especially if it isn't regarding something inherently wrong.

Claims about decreasing donations.

every so often it is mentioned that donations are decreasing.

i have never heard that directly from the publications or from the platform.

this is the only place where i have seen this claim.. is there anything factual to this?

Quit looking at my butt!!!!!!

ya know those days when you know you should have stayed in bed?.

i had to go to the grocery store, as i was walking in i noticed a man and a woman behind me and both were looking at my butt.. it's a nice butt but usually doesnt get much attention.

i resisted the urge to brush the back of my pants off till they were inside and out of sight... i did and didnt feel anything... later on in the store i got that " feeling" that somene was behind me.. turned around and a woman was looking at my butt.

there has been a few posts regarding happy marriages and the 2 witness rule which reminded me of an experience you might find funny.

i'd like to know if anyone else has done anything like this.... there was a married couple with 3 kids in our cong.

he was an ms but a nasty piece of work.

I have done a few "cases," too. Hahaha

5 of them.

4 Witnesses and my best friend/cousin.

People just kept approaching me to "help." I guess I put off the vibe that I am into that stuff (I AM!!!)

I will say this -- most suspicions are founded. Find out for your peace of mind, at least. Every last one of the ladies was guilty. (My female friends have never retained my services in these areas.)

LOL at the close call at Mickey D's.

just wanting to find out some of you all's hobbies.. my favorite is video gaming.

i love it and i love visiting video gaming stores.

ideally, it will be an eloquent explanation of my actions, more for myself than anyone else.

also, i hope that there are tons of others out there who have, or have had similar feelings and experiences who can contribute insight to the discussion.. as a witness, my mind was relatively closed.
