  Is the "marking" policy of the Society defunct or still officially used?

  in my over 30 years as a jw, i honestly can't recall ever hearing about anyone who was being officially "marked" pursuant to the society's "marking" policy based on 2 thess 3:14. .

  in fact, i havn't read anything about their strange "marking" policy in years.

  this makes me wonder if the society still has confidence in it and still officially endorses it?

  while travelling over the past weekend, we stayed at a hotel for one evening.

  i tend to notice things - that evidently no one else does.. due to some regulations, signs now have braille text on them.

  like room numbers and such.

  When in doubt, "Follow the Money."
  
  It is a matter of liability. Of course, if pressed, they wouldn't admit this, but they don't WANT the blind people in their pool or using the exercise equipment or going down stairs in an emergency situation. Liability. They would never admit this, though, because it would cost them in lawsuits and settlements.

  barbie doll's grandson called yesterday saying the his fiancee, wants to meet us.

  his hasn't willingly visited us for more than 10 years.

  the last few times we saw him, was when we stopped his work, every time we invited to come and visit us and he never has.

  no, kingdumb hells do not have traditional images.

  they lack crosses, statues, and other symbols that most christian churches have.

  however, they do have an image.

  The Flag Code talks about certain government facilities required to display the flag, and what the rules are.
  
  I hate it when somebody displays a frayed, dirty flag, or displays it improperly. I don't worship the flag, but I don't want to see it disrespected without any thought or purpose.

  You don't have the grasp of the concept of genetic potential. POTENTIAL.
  
  The pair of dogs that came off of the ark weren't Jack Russells, but they possessed the genetic potential.
  
  People don't have the genetic potential for purple skin in our genetic code. But we do have have the potential for everything from pale white, ruddy white to yellow, to coal black.
  
  And it is ALL out there. We are the world, dammit! hahha
  
  Genetic potential.
