This is interesting. In this world, anyone believing that
had a calling through the holy spirit is viewed as a hierarchy, yet through rhetorical
devices you single out the GB. AJW rhetoric, got to love it. Better email the Pontiff
to let him know that he’s mistaken about papal infallibility and worldwide
Bishops are liars according to you people, since they hold themselves to a higher standard than the GB. The Pope speaks directly with God, and the Bishops are Apostles according to their creed.

Do you believe Jehovah's Witnesses' Governing Body is the "faithful slave"?
by Marvin Shilmer inthis question is known to be posed by jws to other jws as an acid test of loyalty.
i'm not the first to notice what i'm about to point out and comment accordingly, but today i felt compelled to add a short article on my blog highlighting the new language that governing body member geoffrey jackson supplies as a response.
a person who honestly hesitates to respond with a robust "yes!

Please reach out to Te New Yorker
by Jonathan Drake ini have found an article on their website that moved me to contact them.
i share it here hoping more will contact in a similar vein and maybe we can raise awareness and tear down this propaganda.
i'm writing regarding an article about jehovah's witnesses and their blood transfusion doctrine, found here:http://tinyurl.com/pxku9dgit is clear to me, reading this article, that it's writer is either profoundly ignorant or profoundly biased.

It’s within the frame work of progress that she is relating to. The makeup of blood transfusions was never a cure all from a scientific perspective. Other fusion able material worked just as well in WW2. Now, science has enough insight to produce a reliable substitute or alternative. However, science has always maintained the risk with blood transfusions. So to say, JWs sign their lives away is no riskier when a doctor tells you to sign a document that underlines all those risks associated with a BT. So it becomes a CHOICE of the individual.

Bravo, you guys keep up the good work, anyone else has a letter they care to share.
Examples of such religious practices may include a formal announcement of my non-member status before the [named] Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, shunning, intentional infliction of emotional distress, harassment, slander, invasion of privacy, etc. Should you engage in any such conduct towards me, I will immediately and fully utilize all legal means to stop those acts. Any and all of the above-named parties may be held jointly and severally responsible.

But then in Braunfeld v. Brown (1961) the Supreme Court seemed to suggest that the Free Exercise Clause might sometimes constitutionally mandate exemptions. And in Sherbert v. Verner (1963), the Court expressly adopted the constitutional exemption model, under which sincere religious objectors had a presumptive constitutional right to an exemption. Wisconsin v. Yoder (1972) reaffirmed this, and the period from 1963 to 1990 is often labeled the Sherbert/Yoder era of Free Exercise Clause law.

Do you believe Jehovah's Witnesses' Governing Body is the "faithful slave"
For an individual among Jehovah's Witnesses faced with the acid test question, what is my recommendation?
I agree with Governing Body member Geoffrey Jackson. The Governing Body views itself as trying to fulfill the role of the biblical 'faithful slave,' but it would be presumptuous to say the Governing Body is the only spokesperson that God is using. I don't see any sense in speculating beyond this. Do you?
The failure with apostate ideology is they always grab at straws. Reviewing the question and answers given by Geoffrey Jackson while seemly making a compiling argument for the opposition? We would need to understand that this were his personal views. His Answers were not Collective or tethered to the governing body. So YES EXJW’s would be wrong in not having the ability to separate fact from fiction, but it is expected.

GB member Geoffrey Jackson is lying!
by Billy the Ex-Bethelite inokay, i know the royal commission hasn't started yet.
but i'm confident enough that he will be telling some whoppers.
so i thought i'd be the first to get a thread started for something that will begin... very soon now!.

I wonder why the RC didn't have the nerve to summon the POPE to explain Catholic policies and yet Cardinal PELL dismissed the calm of the RC as outrageous. And I thought you people were against prophecy. That's means billy is the devils helper. You calm the WTS is always changing, NOW YOU KNOW WHY! To have people understand when ignorance over shadows the basic concept of thought.

For those of you "not baptised" and too afraid to front the RC. WT is hoping you won't come forward.
by umbertoecho inhello to those following what is going in australia with our royal commission.. i want to let all those abused, neglected, shunned and blamed that i understand why you may not front the rc.
the wtbts is hoping you will consider yourself an invalid complainant, because you are not or were not.....baptised.
if you were abused at a young age and you told on your dad or the bad man that did it.......you would have been taken aside by the overseer and read scriptures about lying and being immoral; even if you didn't know what that word meant.

You’re making false claims that the RC is criminally investigating organizations which include Jehovah’s Witnesses. THEY ARE NOT. This body was formed to recommend by interviewing ALL institutions in Australia to better serve victims such as child sexual abuse in Australia. A solution that was reached in 2013 to ALL civilized countries in this world.
If your ignorance would be correct, then they would have to charge criminally every institution that is for review including all religions in Australia.
Some of you such as mentally diseased people like AZOR are taking away from the seriousness of a problem that it has been throughout the world.
The Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse is investigating how institutions like schools, churches, sports clubs and government organizations have responded to allegations and instances of child sexual abuse.
It is the job of the Royal Commission to uncover where systems have failed to protect children so it can make recommendations on how to improve laws, policies and practices.
The Royal Commission is about creating a safer future for children. It can look at any private, public or non-government organization that is, or was in the past, involved with children. This includes where an organization caring for a child is responsible for the abuse or for not responding appropriately, regardless of where or when the abuse took place.
The Royal Commission’s Report of Case Study no.10 – the Salvation Army’s handling of claims of child sexual abuse 1989 to 2014 was released today. The public hearing was held in March 2014 and examined The Salvation Army’s Eastern Territory’s response to claims of child sexual abuse at children’s homes it operated. The Royal Commission has today published research in which children and young people have identified what institutions should do to help them feel safe and be safe. The research, "Taking Us Seriously: Children and young people talk about safety and institutional responses to their safety concerns" was conducted by the Australian Catholic University in partnership with Griffith University and the Queensland University of Technology. So your ideology would mean ALL religions are CULTS and HARMFUL to children and society. Some of you really need a shrink. So I don't need to start a thread when there is so much misrepresentation within your own here.

And to think I thought you people were on to something. What a disappointment that the RC is investigating ALL ENTITIES in Australia. EXJWdubs misrepresentation once again.
A Royal Commission is a special investigation into a matter of great importance.
The community is concerned about widespread reports of cases in Australia where institutions have failed to protect children under their responsibility from sexual abuse.
Six Commissioners were appointed in January 2013 to investigate where institutions failed to protect children or to respond properly to allegations and incidents of child sexual abuse. The abuse may have happened a long time ago, or recently.
The Commissioners can look at any private, public or non-government institution in Australia that is, or was in the past, involved with children.
The Royal Commission will make recommendations on how to improve laws, policies and practices in Australia to provide a safer future for children.
The Catholic Church is next.

In View of R.C.hearing of J.W.& child Sexual Abuse in Aust. and it`s Worldwide Coverage.can we expect ....?
by smiddy inare we likely to see a definite drop in new bible studies , interest in the religion ,a drop in meeting attendance ,especially in lands where this is widely reported ?
or even an exodus from many in the congregations who may view this as the last straw ?.
their have only been 3 days of this inquiry so far and the incompetence of the elders to articulate their position is painful to observe , they are ignorant to the extreme .showing a total disinterest in the whole proceedings.. when questioned , they have not bothered to understand the purpose of the commission , nor read any of the previous days proceedings ,nor have they bothered to read the victims statement ,and have shown a total disregard for the whole procedure .. surely any thinking person with half a brain would back away from any involvement with this religion .. i am overjoyed that this inquiry is getting worldwide media attention ,i hope you are too .. i commented on an article in ghana africa that ran with this story , so the sexual abuse of children within the jehovah`s witness organization is getting worldwide coverage .. what do you think ?.
