All that fluff, but no sale. I can’t believe ex-witnesses have become as blind as to think Miller had anything to do with the bible student movement. Granted ex-witnesses in this forum would equate 1874 to some delusional advent movement but now it has become part of the bible student legacy or so you say.
I remember when I posted a question, why then not believe the BSA started in 1844 as a point of reference, and I was hung out to dry with Ex-Witnesses telling me what 1844 had to do with the BSA, and now you’ve turned around an accepted this concept.
Boy you people really need to get together to figure out how to best satisfy your bitterness with actual facts. Maybe you can sell your story, and attribute it to Ray Franz as others do.
Thanks for the fictional story. If you research hard enough, maybe you can go back further, let’s say 452 A.D.
Maybe you active and ex-witnesses that still believe in God should join the JWRM. They don’t have a problem with disfellowshipped or doctoral changing people. But don’t try to say their just another extension of the Jw’s just as you've incorrectly applying history, and the reasoning behind the changes of 1931.

Jehovah’s Witnesses Recognize That People Have the Right to Change Religions, Just Not Their Religion
by Watchtower-Free inby alexandra james.
http://jwvictims.org/2015/05/17/jehovahs-witnesses-recognize-that-people-have-the-right-to-change-religions-just-not-their-religion/.
jehovahs witnesses say that people have the right to change religions and that they deserve respect when it comes to that right, but this is not something that they offer to those who leave their religion.

Mental disease definition
Mental illness refers to a wide range of mental health conditions — disorders that affect your mood, thinking and behavior. Examples of mental illness include depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, eating disorders and addictive behaviors.
6 How can we protect ourselves against false teachers? The Bible’s counsel regarding how to deal with them is clear. (Read Romans 16:17; 2 John 9-11.) “Avoid them,” says God’s Word. Other translations render that phrase “turn away from them,” “keep away from them,” and “stay away from them!” There is nothing ambiguous about that inspired counsel. Suppose that a doctor told you to avoid contact with someone who is infected with a contagious, deadly disease. You would know what the doctor means, and you would strictly heed his warning. Well, apostates are “mentally diseased,” and they seek to infect others with their disloyal teachings. (1 Tim. 6:3, 4) Jehovah, the Great Physician, tells us to avoid contact with them. We know what he means, but are we determined to heed his warning in all respects?
Does this mean as a person or the persons behavior. If you are going to psychoanalysis something, it would be helpful to do it right. Since shunning values are personal, let’s say I don’t know if your DF’d, dissociated or just left. It wouldn’t matter to me one way or the other as a person. The people who know you would be in a better position to reason why they wouldn’t want to associate with you. The bulk of your bitterness is based in family and the perception of fellowship from others. I don’t know you from Adam but that simple way you’re distorting some of the facts will lead me to conclude you’re not an honest person. So why would I like that type of fellowship. So if that is the consensus, then how would it be better spiritually for others that know you if your only be criticizing their effort for doing right by God and they know that fact. Well you be civil and hold your tongue? Or will you badger them, as you are critical of them here.
People don’t know me, but many have been critical of me, are they right or wrong. It doesn’t matter if they think I’m dumb or ignorant since I have already made the choice of thinking that about them.
So what’s left a continual rotation without an end? Perhaps with your analogy you might consider this word: Since your avatar speaks volumes.

The Gentile Times Reconsidered is not a great book because he does not reconsider anything. He just tries to prove that 587 is the destruction of Jerusalem. But if he was reconsidering the Gentile Times, he would know that the Gentile times did not start at the destruction of Jerusalem, though that was taught by the organization since Russell. He, like the WTBTS, can't see the forest through the trees.
There are several ways to confirm 607B.C; unfortunately it seems that only one has bothered to research without just accepting things that have been mentioned as fact when it lacks foundation. But as someone stated it is a long drawn adventure. By the way time table goes backwards. So the essence of the American civil war is part of the timeline.

How do I get the COBE to pay back the money he and his ripped off from my ex-wife, he's the guy who claims he make's Pedophiles Holy by YHWH's power!
by PhilsWager2 inthe cobe of the local kingdom hall never paid my ex-wife for the work done because they promised they would use "trade" to reimburse close to $5000 worth of work.
as you can imagine nobody here would like him because he believes all the pedophiles can change their ways after the child sex offenders have proved their humility by bowing before the judicial committees.
this is how honest jehovah's witnesses are, they changed her work from a 1200 sq.

Once a PI finds something (and they will if this guy is doing anything shady), you will anonymously send copies of the findings to every elder and at least 3 local media outlets (with a bogus return address--even better, drive across state lines and mail it from far away).
(I'm aware this makes me sound like a sociopath. So what. Vengeance is cathartic and as long as you do nothing illegal
Well I hope you’re not from the USA. In the USA it is illegal to falsify mailing address since the anthrax scare of 2001. Just because the mailman doesn’t tell you, it doesn’t mean it won’t be scrutinized by Homeland Security. It’s easier to get someone else in trouble other than oneself. People get away with many things until they get caught. The first thing they say, Well I didn’t know, and I was told I could. If you have a legal problem, then seek legal counsel. It’s better than having to pay the price for malice and slander (Defamation) in the end.

If They Stopped Shunning Tomorrow?
by cofty inimagine that the cult decided to stop shunning family members on the proviso that the dfd person was not actively trying to attack the cult.. (please don't debate whether or not this is likely - it's hypothetical).
how would you respond to your family?.
personally i think i would be less than cooperative.
-
SimonSays
I would say great. I promise I won't attack your beliefs but this has to be a two way street. You have to promise not to share your beliefs and meetings with me because I have no interest in hearing about that part of your life. And in all honesty it just promotes arguments which we should avoid. We can talk about life, love, food, movies, books, TV shows, sports, science and the cosmos if you want
That’s the way it is right now. Shunning is based in belief of faith. When a person gets df’d that persons belief is in question not the person itself. If people that know you go the extra mile to shun you for you, then it means they know you well enough to know what kind of a person you really are, and are in a much better position to decide why they are doing it without having to blame the entire organization. Shunning value is personal.

What Jehovah's Witnesses need to do to become Mainstream
by FusionTheism ini was raised a jehovah's witness, so i know all the "ins-and-outs" of their theology and belief system..
in my view, they can become a part of mainstream christianity and lose their cult status by making just a few changes for the better:.
1: stop their severe shunning practices.

what is the oldest settlement in south america?
how did those people get there from the middle east after the flood wiped out everything on the earth?.

Ask a simple question. Now who are you taking about in the flood, Noah or God? Hmmm
Let me think. Apples and Oranges, what to do, what to do. THE BALANCE OF CHRISTENDOM is dependent in this decision.

Spirituality: can be defined with a person’s motive, in a positive or negative way regardless of the terms religious or religion.

http://www.patheos.com/blogs/jesuscreed/2011/01/24/levels-of-spirituality/
http://www.finerminds.com/spirituality/three-levels-of-spiritual-enlightenment/
http://personalityspirituality.net/articles/the-michael-teachings/reincarnation-the-35-steps/
Example:
As long as you play nice and ask questions that fall within the scope of this forum, you will be fine.
If you have an agenda people here are super good at detecting that - more than the average person, given the religion that we have all left and they will drift away from you and your posts.
Its all easy and civil. No need for pit bulls guarding the gates of our threads, nefarious posters out themselves. An inference that logic thru thought is evil or wicked if it doesn’t meet their expectation.
And to answer your question, can you be religious and spiritual...why not? Its like eating oranges and being blonde. Happens but not always together and not necessarily related. Spiritual negativity / realignment.
I beg to defer. Ex-Witnesses that were released or left from an organization for attempting to change doctrine by screaming for a different structure is no different than what goes on in this forum. You stated there are no rules, but there are. There are the owner’s rules, posting rules. Rules that get broken everyday by members in long standing by using innuendos in an explicit nature or profanity, and don’t get deleted, and then there’s your rules. The Objective is to deny, deny, and deny any logic. Why because some of you are book authors. Now you have to defend your position at all cost even if it’s contrary to the truth. Anyone attempting to change the structure of this forum by legitimate debate or argument is meeting deletion.
So then the question should be, how can you possibly think your views can be taken seriously when you have become the thing you most hate? How demoralizing. Positive Spiritual Intent.
Just state the truth. Perhaps some people will be more receptive with your ideology.
Bigotry definition
Intolerance toward those who hold different opinions from oneself.
Innuendo:
Noun, plural innuendos, innuendoes.
1.
An indirect intimation about a person or thing, especially of a disparaging or a derogatory nature.
2.
Law.
A parenthetic explanation or specification in a pleading.
(In an action for slander or libel) the explanation and elucidation of the words alleged to be defamatory.
The word or expression thus explained.
ne·far·i·ous
(typically of an action or activity) wicked or criminal.
