How ridiculous. There is absolutely no compelling reason to suppose that the heavingly calling is limited to literally 144,000. The Society's argument for this is not very strong. Robert King must surely be aware of the compelling arguments against such an interpretation.
And what on earth does he mean "an in-gathering to Jehovah's organization of the "Great Crowd,"..." Doesn't he preach that the Watchtower Society is going to collapse, actually be removed by Jehovah as discipline for its sins? So what on earth is this 'organisation' that the 'great crowd' is going to be gathered into? There won't be any 'organisation' left to run to during the great tribulation if his doomsday interpretations about what shortly lies ahead for the world come true.
In any event he's ripped most of his ideas off from Don Burney of the YORRWW congregation, or whatever they call themselves. He denies ever having read Burney's book 'The Report' but he clearly stumbled across them when browsing old ex-jw www forum's (eg, H20?) that Burney used to post on.

Most calcium and magnesium supplements are completely useless as they are not bio-available. It's better to eat foods that are high in the extra minerals you need. There are good books around on that.
Colloidal minerals are superior too. -

by unbeliever inmy friend called and told me there were 3 announcements last night at the kh saying x, x, & x are no longer jw's.
they all da'd themselves.
all 3 sent letters out to a select group of friends and family before they gave their letters to the elders.

This is interesting. It highlights there are more doubters starting to talk to each other in the congregation. Little pockets of dissent are congealing.
There is going to be an increasing polarisation occuring in the organisation between the fearfully loyal and the doubters.
Three persons being announced as no longer JW's (later revealed to be for 'apostasy') is tremendously damaging to a congregation and in fact an entire circuit, especially if the persons who left were in good standing and/or reputable, eg, elders or pioneers. Morale plummets in the whole circuit and others who are struggling with 'doubts' find encouragement to do forbidden research. These three obviously went down in a flame of fire by writing letters to friends and family. The congregation will probably never recover. (The die-hards will just take it as evidence of the congregation being tested and sifted by Satan and proof the end is near.)
JW's crave this kind of juicy gossip. Some will go no ends to unearth as much detail as they can about exactly what 'apostate' ideas these 3 left for. There own confidence in those particular beliefs will thereafter always be dented. -

Yep, the psychology behind why JW's slavishly cling to every utterance coming forth from the Watchtower's mouth is not much different from why a person just cannot break their expensive lotto habit. Both are pipe-dreams.

but i find the utterances of jehovahs witnesses themselves to be even more intriguing.

by Wild_Thing inin lieu of flowers, donations made to the world wide work of jehovah's witnesses would be appreciated by the family.. anybody ever seen a witness family do this before?
i saw it in an obit in a newspaper online and it made me sick!
most people ask for donations to non-profit organizations that help fight disease like cancer, etc.
