Hello from Australia...
by Riverview injust wanted to say hi.... its my 1st time on here...it looks good.. are there many here from aus??.
i am 37 - male - was a jw all my life until 2 years ago.
used to pioneer regularly and was a ms. thankfully i questioned everything in the end and found out who god really is and the history of the jw's....my wife and i were shocked after reading coc and c/freedom.

I just wish my own parents or aunts or teachers were as interested in me as she was.
That's how pedophiles get over on kids! Take interest in this kid and make him feel loved! Their love screwed up my brain for 20 years! I don't think that they helped me at all! It's like being turned into a vampire! 'Cept you can't have no blood! They made my life a complete bore! I started to have panic attacks! Had to go on anti-anxiety meds! I could go on and on....but I'll spare you all the whole story... I was a wimp! You know who I help convert? My neice and my twin daughters! They are deeply into this religion and I can't do anything about it!

What religions did you seek since leaving? Or not?

At this very moment:I have nothing to do with any religion, I can't, ... I just can't.
That's me! I don't where to go or what to do? I still believe in Jehovah, but now, I'm having doubts about his name??? Is Jehovah really God's name? If he wanted his name to be known, he's all-powerful, omnipotent... I know that he has the power to make sure that his name is used correctly. So, did he want his name known? We, definitely, know that his son was Jesus. Right???I'm so confused!

still trying to hang in there

i've been really sick and in a rough state of mind with everything in my life going down the drain, but i'm hanging in there best i can.
i miss you all; hopefully tomorrow i'll feel a little better and will read and post some more.

What does "Get a life" mean?

if someone says "i have a life" because i have kids, husband, etc,etc....does that mean that the other person doesn't have life or does that make their life more meaningful than a person who doesn't have this or that?
