this is the second time such a thing has taken place, the first time was his being on the way to school a couple of weeks ago--but due to circumstances it was suspected to be related to a possible heart problem, and not a seizure after all.. when my other son came into our room to let us know something crazy was going on, my husband raced upstairs and realized it was a grand mal.

he helped clear the area, and held my son's head in his arms.

at a lutheran church- the chap said he heard me a zillion years ago????

( i doubt that)i've only been on earth 78-but his bible study group has been asking "what can we say when the jw knocks at our door" ?.

How about: Your religion is mind controlling, not a God controlling one. Most of you don't even know what your own religion is about, and are forbidden to ask questions about the false prophecies that have been made. And I could never be apart of a religion that makes their followers shun their loved ones because that's not christian to me!

Mrs. McDucket, how are you at pretending to be mentally challenged and emotionally deficient? Are you good at pretending that?

I couldn't do it. I love my girls to death, but I couldn't do it! I had their dad call them and ask them if they were ready to move back home. Of course, they said no. I am just antsy or something today. I know that their attitudes stink right now, and what they believe in is PURE BUNK! I don't want to have to change the way I do things to make them feel more comfortable. Heck! I need to go buy a pumpkin and carve that mutha up! That'll give me something to do!

Feeling a little low again

lots of ups and downs in my life......... and when my mom helps me with things i can't do on my own, even though i'm assured it's not simple charity but done out of love, i feel guilty.

i was self-sufficient from age 16. now i am nearing 34 and can barely do anything without assistance.

it's very difficult losing everything (money, car, job, use of limbs, fiance, etc) in the span of less than a year.

Cygnus, I've been with my husband for 30 years. He became disabled in 1984, so that's 21 years. I have had to help him out a lot. Sometimes, I don't know what I'd do without him! There are times that I feel sorry for myself, but I get over it. I am a nurse, so I get to meet all kinds of people with chronic illnesses. One thing that really stuck with me is the mothers who say "Why did God take my child away from me?" They say "I would of took care of him/her even if they could not walk or do anything for themselves, just so that I could be near him/her." I'm sure that your mother loves you very much, and glad that you there.... just to be able to smell you!!
