  i didn't go into work tonight.

  my allergies are kicking my butt.

  i snort like a pig; blow my nose, frequently; have post nasal drip; sneeze like a hyenna; have gunk in my eyes; and sleep poorly.

  Pollen is lying in drifts along the streets down here and clinging to the tires of vehicles and making them yellow with pollen dust.

  Frannie, that sounds like allergy hell! I don't think I'm going to be moving there.

  I didn't go into work tonight. My allergies are kicking my butt. I snort like a pig; blow my nose, frequently; have post nasal drip; sneeze like a hyenna; have gunk in my eyes; and sleep poorly. Anyone else, going through this hell! I've got Allegra, Benadryl Allergy Sinus, NeoSynephrine Nasal Spray, Saline Nasal Spray, and some other spray that my doctor gave me; and I'm still suffering.

  I feel like CRAP! Woe is me!

  Can you call my boss and get her to understand my pain!

  (I just had to get this off my chest or nose!)

  In the New System, I'm not going to have allergies!

  my laptop has restarted on me for the last time and its going to die.

  from droping my internet connection after typing a long post out and then losing my entire post to freezing to the all the other horribly frustrating problems a pc has.. i have had enough.

  this computer is going to die.

  i'm reading last weeks medical rag, australian dr weekly.

  there's an article in there about how the male contraceptive is on it's way.

  versions of a male implant is being trialled by who and australian researchers.. the article quotes a london professor, john guillebaud who said that "surveys show about 2/3 of men worldwide in all cultures say they would take a male pill".

  one of the key things i have noticed since leaving the witnesses and interacting with other faiths, is that they often mention the word "miracle!

  " in that they will claim that their god had performed some sort of miracle in their life that brought about something amazing.

  it is not always christians who say this either, as many of my "pagan" friends and myself have had spirit driven moments that were something that could not be displaced as "chance.

  When I had my thyroidectomy fiasco, I knew, during the second surgery (while I was under) that something was going wrong. I remember praying to Jehovah. I believe that I may have even called out his name. I, at that time, believed he heard me and helped me. I awoke in leather straps and on a vent, but I made it through. Don't know if it was a miracle or not.

  It was one of the weird events in life. Don't know what you call it. At the time, I believed that Jehovah listened to all of his people whether they were inactive, disfellowshipped, or whatever. I don't believe that the witnesses own Jehovah.

  so me and the guy i've been dating finally became offical since last night and its the first time in almost a year since i have been in a relationship.

  and for once, i think i may have a winner.

  but he is white...and 32...and plays the african drums..and teaches some weird dance in a school for kids having to do with cuban tribal dances..or something or other.

  what would humanity do without some belief in an almighty, in a divine in something?.

  how has it shaped the way modern man thinks?.

  would we better off or worse, without a belief in that which is divine?.

  Most people would believe in something. Whether it be man, fairies, mystic stuff, what have ya. Remember, it's the industrialized nations that believe in the God of the Hebrew bible. The other nations believe in all kinds of stuff.

  JEHOVAH WITNESSES

  Jehovah Witnesses believe they are the only true Christians. They systematically proselytize people who attend Christian churches, categorizing Christendom as "false religion," "the Harlot," and "Babylon the Great." They deny the deity of Jesus Christ. They say Jesus is "a God", not equal to Jehovah God. Scripture clearly presents Jesus as fully God, not "a God". Jehovah Witnesses have a strong emphasis on salvation by works instead of by faith alone. They believe Jesus returned to earth in 1914.

  In order to defend their doctrinal beliefs, they have created their own bible called New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures. Translated by a committee of five, none of whom were trained in Hebrew and Greek, it changes the meaning of the Greek and Hebrew texts in order to support spurious Jehovah's Witness doctrines. They also state that you must read the literature published by the Watchtower society in order to understand the bible.
