purps-
I have moments like this also, where some days it would be great to just stay home - but.......
then I get to work and enjoy the change of scenery and the challenges and the people. I'm a much happier wife, mom, and woman - working. that's just me, but I did the stay at home thing when the kids were really little. There was always plenty to do at home, but I was climbing the walls from the mental funk it put me in.
now if you could get PAID to stay home that may be a different story......
There are for sure men who like women who want to be a housewife and not work. My experience has been they are mostly JW men who have ego issues and want the "little woman" around to "take care of him." I'm not saying they are all like that - I'm just not attracted to men who want that kind of thing. I'd rather have a guy who is secure enough that he wouldn't care if I made more money than he did...... :)

My thoughts today
by purplesofa inas i get myself ready to go to work today.
i was a housewife for 10 years.........and now have worked the better of 18 years......... there is still hardly a day that goes by where i don't long to be home.
i would never be bored, i could find endless things to do.. do men still look for wives that would be, or need a woman "full-time"?

mmmmm......I'm hungry now.
okay I'm kind of a healthy junk food eater now.
I'm having veggie chips with hummus. LOVE IT! and now I'll just eat some dark chocolate and that kills the cravings for sweets for me. -

did you win the argument, or your ex-mate?
by Calliope inokay first, here's my disclaimer: .
i was wondering, why does the one experiencing the unrequited love lose out?
what i mean is this, if one party decides they no longer want to pursue said marriage, .

WT desparate: Aug 15 WT- In Our Next Issue: When A Loved One Leaves Jehovah
by truthseeker inno, i don't have this article yet, it will appear in the sep 1, 2006 wt.
it may even be a wt study article.. in the august 15 watchtower, the box "in our next issue" has three forthcoming articles, and one of them is "when a loved one leaves jehovah".
of interest, it's not when a loved one leaves the society, it's jehovah.. will keep you posted.
