are you careful about what you say?
do you make sure that you won't offend anyone?

all are welcome to join.
all you have to do is be happy and positive.
you must honestly want to spread your happiness infectiously throughout the world.. you must try to wear a smile most of the time.. you must listen compassionately and give good hugs.. i does not matter if you are not currently feeling happy, but you must promise to summon the feeling from within yourself.
Jeannie, you "cheeky" vixen, you!

I realized very early in my life that what later came to be called "politically correct" dialogue was not my strong suit. I think I was four when I was very quietly standing in a checkout line with my mother and loudly proclaimed, "Mama, you have hair on your toes!"
Nowadays a hairy person is referred to in much kinder terms. In time, I came to realize that Hirsutially Challenged persons like my mother deserve to be left alone about their uniqueness. I just can't seem to leave such things alone.
I am not a politically correct person because I suck at it.

I'm happier than I have ever been!
But I'm not yet as happy as I intend to be.
Thanks for this thread, changeling.
You just threw me on my happy butt!
I am wondering about whether you know your butt is happy 'cause it's smiling ... and how would you know when your butt is smiling ... and wouldn't that just be too weird, to know your butt was smiling?

i recently saw my jw brother and sil and listened to them talk about poor sister sick(o) who has been diagnosed with major mental problems.
she went to the doctor's and the doctor supposedly began to berate her out of the blue because she is a jehovah's witness.
now the family wants to have the doctor formally rebuked for his so called "discriminatory comments".
Because I now know what a meaningful, fulfilling life is really like.
yep, oompa started today with a new therapist who of course wanted to know if i had anything in particular that was the cause of me seeking his service.
so i kinda gave him a jwcult for dummy therapists cliffnotes version, and he seemed like he just couldn't believe some of it.
he understands my awakening has been difficult for me and the stress it has put on my wife and marriage/family.
At the 2018 District Convention entitled "God Can't Believe You Still Believe This Sh*t" there will be an experience of an ex-therapist who was amazed to learn about the "crazy" doctrines of Jehovah's Witnesses from a patient. This patient, intent on the therapist better understanding him, placed a Revelation book with the therapist. "So, Brother PhD, how did you come to the point where you saw that you needed to abandon your lucrative practice to become a window washer and Regular Pioneer?"
Seriously, well done oompa!! That is a great idea. I wish I'd thought of that when I was in therapy.

and watching "dirty harry" .
go ahead make my day....
Put the gun down, m'kay? Guns are bad, so don't do guns, m'kay? M'kay.
that's my conclusion.
they don't stand for anything anymore.
they used to be known as "bible students" but not anymore.
Dawg,
I'd tilt a shot back with you anyday. (<--- closest thing to a shot glass in the emoticons window)
And if it was a shot of Jamesson and Bailey's Irish Creme dropped in a Guinness, you could put me down for three of four ... or six.
Minimus, you are right. They have no purpose anymore, other than to justify their own existence through rote works whose significance they no longer comprehend.

if the law allowed, do you think jws would actually kill apostates?
Nah. They wouldn't kill us. They'd be too afraid our sins would've been paid and we might get resurrected to spoil their bone-strewn utopia.
when you were a witness, there must've been things that you really wanted to but couldn't because you were not able to.
give us some examples, please..
[ x ] Have a thought of my OWN about the Bible!
[ x ] Celebrate. Life, holidays, friendship, whatever!
[ x ] Make friends with anyone I want to, without fear of someone telling me how unfit they are for association.
Can't believe I forgot those.
