the implication presumably being that jws are so dumb , they will do anything that those in authority ask them to do.

my atheist's book of bible stories is nearly complete, so i thought i would write the epic masterpiece history of my family, from the time that they came to canada until today.
i am calling the book "east of edenwold" (which is a small town in saskatchewan).

I feel like a nerd...
I always was really excited about the "special week of activity" and would try to get my mom to go out in service with me. We felt so good that we were encouraging each other, with my dad "not in the truth" and all...
all that stuff made me happy... I felt like I was helping Jehovah.
Sort of bittersweet memories. Good times, wasted by not getting a real life going, but good times (for me) nonetheless. **expecting rotten tomatoes from the uber-apostates...**
But I have a question. I don't understand how the elders would "ass-kiss" the CO and DO. Like, what would they do to kiss ass? I can't think of anything they would do...
Please explain- this is interesting!

the one i always recall is the scene where anthony hopkins (playing as hannibal lector) lobotomised ray liotta (paul krendler) cutting off pieces of his brain and giving them to him to eat.
he also took some of liotta's cooked brain in a plane and gave them to an unsuspecting passenger boy sitting next to him to eat.

So we're ALL screwed. You can't even argue that you are actually promoting real bible truth: it's "bible truth AS TAUGHT BY JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES" that counts.
It's like they know folks will argue that they have beliefs that are from the bible so therefore shouldn't get df'ed but nope- they already got the stranglehold clause built in there.

if it can be proven that tobacco use was a practice before all the o-so-explicit cleanliness laws in deuteronomy then god's silence on the matter could be deemed as proof that he did not mind such things.. anyone know if tobacco use has caveman roots?

marijuana came from the orient- maybe they smoked that.
I know that lots of stuff frrom the far east was common across the eurasian continent especially at jesus' time with all that trading going on.
I can't imagine the mid- and near- east citizens not smoking weed. And if Jesus thought it was wrong it would definitely have been mentioned -at least by Paul, that grumpy curmudgeon!

i discovered the real truth about 6 years ago with the aid of websites like this (cannot contain my gratefulness), now i am stepping into your world and it feels right.
my family runs four generations deep in witness muck,my great-grandmother was the oldest living pioneer in our region for what seemed like forever, three of my great-grandparents were "anointed",my grandfather hobnobbed with the governing body, etc.,etc.
