Seriously? I think it goes with faith. If you honestly BELIEVE that bad stuff exists in brass beds or lite brites, then anything bad that happens around you will be attributed to said possessed belongings and you can wish further bad things into existence with the wrong mindset. Like attracts like.

KATE MOSS OR KATE WINSLET?

i just read that kate moss has been given more modelling jobs now that she's been a whole month "clean" of using cocaine which is how she kept her body at skin and bones.

i hear lots of women say they'd "love to have a body like hers", when we know the only way she can keep that skinny is by using drugs.

i was told that i was "just jealous" and that "all women would like to be that thin.

I like the variety with women. I like our little 'imperfections.' It's what makes all of us unique. But me being a woman, I have to say that I never found the sexless bodies of models to be attractive. There's something perverted in desiring that in a way...I myself? Short and stocky...I'm trying to lose weight, but not to be a skinny minnie...to be healthier.

But I liked Kate when she was at her more meatier...I liked renee zellwiger when she had gained the weight for that bridget diary movies...

Has Depression & Anger Lessened Since You've Stopped Attending Meetings?

Do I feel better?! I'm alive now! I'm actually living my life!

Does that mean my anger and depression has gone away? I'm getting there. I buried a lot of my feelings toward the religion and it did nothing but poison and I'm sure aided me in my downward spiral that I had been on up until recently. With the help of therapy and myself, I'm getting better...but I have never been happier than I am at this point, recently married to a wonderful "Worldly" man, getting my sh!t straight, saving for the future, heck, just thinking about the future...that in itself makes me ecstatic.

I mean, how many of you all were terrified thinking about tomorrow and the next day and the next in the organization? I was terrified. I wasn't looking forward to Armegeddon, I was living in abject terror of it. Because, of course, you never really knew if you would survive it...grace is not given, you have to work for it...so I went to bed everynight scared to death that I hadn't done enough, that I wasn't good enough. Ya'll know.

Anyone read tarot cards?

i was recently given a deck, and since i am no longer a jdub, i know i will not be cursed to eternal damnation and possessed by the demons, i thought it might be fun to give it a go.

i have always been quite intuitive and thought this might be a good tool to help me develop it a bit more.

any advice from those that use or any good books to consult?

I just bought my first deck last week as well. Guess I'm really testing the waters...teehee! Anyway, I got a box set that included a Universal-Waite deck along with an interpretation book which goes in-depth on card description and potential meaning. I also picked up the "Little Black Book of Tarot Reading" again, it's a small book but very detailed.

are there tennis courts, too?
