sometimes people claim than an individual can't change the world, but i guess matthias rust , a 19 year old west german, never heard that one.
in 1987 he flew a private all the way to moscow to plead for world peace and his unbelievable flight probably did more to end the cold war than a bevy of professional diplomats.. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/05/26/ar2007052601262.html.
i am hoping an idealistic young person will bring down the wt org, too..

Obama's just had his first press conference in 310 days.
We need more industrial accidents. Everything has a silver lining.

Burns, you're about as neurotic as all the Bush-haters were, bring him into every single argument and discussion. Do you see little Obama heads floating around when you close your eyes at night? If you see this, promise me you'll get help:

If they would focus on collecting it and not worry about stopping the leak, it would eventually run out of it's own volition. It is simple logic, not rocket science.
Wow. Actually, it almost is rocket science. Unless you yourself are a petroleum engineer and can speak from your own vast knowledge base.
maybe this discussion has already taken place on this forum, or maybe some of you may scoff at this observation as just stating the obvious, but i think it may be worth while to post this for those of you who have yet to discover this paralell.
i was involved in a mlm business in the insurance industry from 1993 - 2000. this life insurance agency was started in 1977 by just a few individuals and had grown by recruiting average working class people to become part-time sales agents and sold them the american dream.
in just a few years time, this agency entered every state and grew into a sales force of roughly 200,000 people, part time and full timers, and by 1984 had become the #1 seller of life insurance in the country for approximately 15 years straight.
Safara, very nice analogy and glad you are out of that AND the JWs. This sentence sum them both up nicely: "Somewhere down the line, we were sold something that we weren't looking for but bought it all anyway."
well, i had every intention to embed the video, but couldnt do it.... in the interest of time, here is the link.

Awesome!
look in any interlinear, even the nwt greek scriptures.
rev 22:15, and many others.
even the universal symbol of pharmacy, two serpents entwined around a staff, with 2 wings atop it.
The medical profession has evolved over thousands of years from basically witch-doctoring practices to science. Healing without science = spiritism, occultism, and/or mysticism. So it is no wonder that pharmakia was adopted in this vein. Of course, there are entire industries now that still treat it as a mystical pursuit, but that's a topic for another day.
the gb is closing down and selling all central american branches.
the congregations are to be serviced out of the mexican branch.. they end the letter by saying that aren't the congregations in the.
central american territory to be expecting great rejoicing since they'll.
The Zone Overseers are in charge of recommending (making) these decisions... they're the ones who go around to different branches to audit effeciency. Same thing happened around 2000 when the Zone Overseers visited Wallkill, Patterson, and Brooklyn and made the recommdendation to consolodate all these previously independently operated facilities and combine them into the "US Branch."
brother philip is one of the great young men of this ministry, the bishop explained, still shuffling the business cards.
im asking you to do something right now.
he asked the congregation.
We have seen an exponential increase in complexity over the course of natural history.
When the system is so vast, it is hard to imagine that it is an essentially closed one.

I'm dissapointed that this thread has simply become an extension of another. The article is really not about this, but about what people expect God to do for them, and how others take advantage of this expectation.
