why are some ex jws not at all interested in this site despite not believing anymore
by looloo inmy disfellowshipped hub is not interested and neither is my friend its like they want to just shut it all out and any mention just brings back bad memories of being disfellowshipped .
i could understand if they still were scared of apostates and all that rubbish but they dont believe in anything !
which prooves my point about a lot of folk in the "truth" that they are there by chace or because they were born in and dont know anything different or scared of dying at armaggedon , its not really about a deep love for god and a wish to do his will and enjoy spreading "the good news" which is "you are all going to die soon" how could someone who was a pioneer and appeared "spiritual"and was considered elder material go from that to not believing in god at all ?

Warlock, I think you're either about to cry, explode, or fall apart, based on how maniacally defensive you are about a skeptic's inability to disprove the supernatural. Well, there's nothing for us to disprove, since none of it is proven in the first place. Get it? Of course you don't.

They just had less to think about back then.
I don't agree. People are people and have been emotionally complex for much longer than 4000 years. This is pretty obvious when you read some ancient literature, including the Bible.

You're an American, right? Well, act like one. It constitutes the very height of hypocrisy to live in this nation and refuse to support it. If you don't like the way things are done by majority, move on.
So we should follow along with "how things are done by the majority"? While I'm glad he calls the JWs out on their hypocrisy, it doesn't mean everyone has to give up their right of dissension and debate. He's a little too right-winger for me. It's almost like the next thing he's gonna say is "if you dont like Ameriker than you kin get out!!" like a buck-toothed tobacco-spitting ignoramous.

Well, when Jehovah's chariot moves forward we just cling on for dear life as it keeps moving lightning fast!
Hilarious and sad.

For those who eat meat , Do you prefer beef, pork, poultry or seafood?
by StoneWall injust trying to see what the majority on here prefer and why.. going to be having some friends over in a few weeks and trying to decide what to go with this time.. i'm more of a seafood type myself.. i'm glad there's not a red lobster restaurant next door to me or i'd go broke from eating there all the time.. .

I eat mostly chicken by far, but I prefer beef. I only eat beef a couple times a month, due to it's much higher saturated fat content and other "bad stuff" found in red meat. I should eat more fish, but it's just never appealing to me.
