i'm finding online people who tell me that they believe the jw's are the truth.. yet they are living a life which says the exact opposite.
i'm not talking about people who are trying to fade.
these are people who specifically say it's the truth.
I think xjws who talk like that have left the org but not the beliefs. They see the wts as having a correct interpretation of the scriptures, but just don't want to live in line with the principles.
I feel a little sorry for them as, in a way, they are still trapped in the watchtower.
i think i replied to too many threads yesterday about demons and jehovah.
must have been in the back of my mind when i went to sleep.. i was dreaming that this ugly demon with a pointy hairy chin was after me.
i dont remember alot, but the end part.

I used to dream all sorts of horrible batlike creatures were after me when I was a child, around 8 or 9, but I haven't had any like that as an adult.
I just found it funny, that I pretty much have been out of the borg for 20 years, and Im still screaming jehovah in my sleep
I thought that was strange as well. Maybe it's because we were taught that we needed to stay close to jehovah to ward off the demons.
when i was in the "truth" all the wts dates just were part of my everday thinking.
now that i have deprogrammed myself i can clearly see that i was part of an evil cult.
just thinking about those stinking dates makes me want to vomit.
According to the Public Library, ALL the books on Cults have a section about Jehovah's witnesses!
They appear in the cults section here as well, they are very well represented.
We were looking on the Rick Ross site earlier, and there's a big section on jws there, along with all the other cults. Their section is bigger than most.

No argument fro me there, Cultswatter. The longer I am away from the org, the more I realise the truth of that statement.
As for those dates, they once made perfect sense to me due to the mental fog I was in as a jw, but they just seem so meaningless now. They have to cling on to them though, despite the overwhelming historical evidence regarding the destruction of Jerusalem by the Babylonians being 586/587 rather than 607, which it would have to be to make 1914 several other dates viable in the jws eyes. I suspect there would be a lot more leaving than there are now if they ever changed those dates.

if someone has, pls add the link in this thread.. no, the watchtowers aren't gonna be monthly like the awake, but apparently the w mags will be designed in this way:.
and from what I recall their are a maximum of 3 "study" articles per magazine, they come up short. Theres no way they will cut an hour from Sundays.
They will have to add a lot of pages to the monthly issue containing the "study" articles, which, in the long run will probably cost them more money.....
I wondered about that, They will either have to make the "internal" wt nothing but study articles, make it a lot bigger than the "public" wt, or put the odd study article in the 1st of the month issue. I wonder if they have really thought this through.
