You site many examples but many of these if not all of them could be explained.
I agree their has been some left to right and back again on " a few" things. A desire to do the right thing is the motive for such.

1978 - 'Lord' refers to Jesus.
1980 - 'Lord' refers to Jehovah

In my opinion, an organisation that god has selected to represent him on earth should get that right the first time. He surely wouldn't send them mixed messages on something like that.

if Jehovah is gradually sending New Light, then why would he flip-flop back on some things?

Perhaps the light was flickering a bit too much then lol!

Changes are usually made for convenience, like the generation change, because all the 1914 generation were dying off, and the watchtower had to think of something new or have yet another failed prophecy to explain. It's similar to the latest flash of light regarding the gathering of the anointed - if they are still being gathered, the org has an explanation why the number of partakers increases so often.

As the Watchtower is Jehovah’s only selected organization on earth which is guided by his holy spirit, why is it that the Watchtower keep changing their understanding of his words in the Bible? Once would be acceptable, twice, three times or even 6 times is not.

When ever the Watchtower changes it’s mind on an issue it uses the “New Light” mantra very effectively with its loyal members as it always manages to keep the rank and file Jehovah’s Witnesses happy. However, surely the “New Light” mantra can only work for the first time a doctrine changes. How, can you go from ‘New Light’ to ‘Old light’, back to ‘New light’ and then go back to the ‘Old Light’ again.

Would Jehovah really lead his own organization in such a manner?

Would he want his organization to embarrass him in such a manner?

Jehovah’s organization alone, in all the earth, is directed by God’s holy spirit or force (Zech,4:6) Only this organization functions for Jehovah’s purpose and to his praise. To it alone God’s Sacred Word, the Bible, is not a sealed book.

Jehovah has always "gradually" revealed his purpose to mankind.

Can you back that statement up with a scripture, and don't quote Prpverbs 4:18, which is used out of context by the watchtower, and if read in context from verse 14 is obviously referring to the differrent outcomes for the wicked and the righteous, and has nothing to do with revealed scriptural knowledge

heard a rumour that the society is working on an 'anti-apostate' software programme for jw's to purchase thru the congregation and instal on their home pc's to block access to apostate websites.

it will be based on standard anti-porn software and on the 500 most commonly used words on apostate websites.

our poor little brookie (whyamihere) got her poor little finger slammed in the door by my adorable grandson tonight (accidently of course).

she had to go to the hospital and get big needles stuck in her finger to releave the pressure and is now enjoying the benefits of pain medication.

i'm sure she could use some well wishes as fingers are very important and so is my lovely brookie (whyamihere).

Saviours of the world?

i just read this really interesting article about similarities between the various saviours, or messiahs that are said to have walked the earth, most of them appearing long before jesus supposedly emerged.

i don't personally believe that jesus was the son of god, or that he came to die for all mankind, but i kind of believe he may have been a historical figure with a certain amount of charisma, an ancient version of modern-day cult leaders like jim jones and david koresh.

I'd say there were a few million Buddhists around, wouldn't you?

Chrishna is the Hindu god Vishnu in human form. There are plenty of Hindus around today

Zoroaster still has followers, though not as many as Buddha, obviuosly.

There may be more, I'll check and post later.
