  this past district covention talk told us that we should put less importance on our healthcare and not get to wrapped up in it, but put more importance to the preaching work.. does anyone remember where this is bible based?

  Faithful and Discreet Slave- why not mentioned after Jesus death?

  during the service meeting part that dealt with how the organization is govern, i can't help but wonder...looking at the time from jesus death to the death of the apostle john some 60 years +/-, the times of the apostles, the letters of paul and the others, the letters to the 7 congregations- where is the mention of looking to the governing body- look to the faithful and discreet slave?

  wouldnt you think jesus in talking to the 7 congregations would have mention that since the counsel he gave meant their salvation?

  especially since the wtbs says there has always been a fds thru out time !!!!.

  WT says that Jehovah has always had an organization, one we just don't know about.

  Jesus replaced by the WTBS?

  could the reason why the wtbs leave out jesus in the watchtower study articles is maybe they think they have replaced him in word?

  or since they are the "spokesman" that jehovah has by passed him for them?

  does that make sense?

  we all know that wtbs does not put a lot of emphasis on jesus, yet when needed highlight his example and the importance of his name despite all the scriptural reference about how jehovah made him important, superior and have alot of authority, yet when you read his life course he took all emphasis off himself and put it on his father.. with that being said, the way the wtbs is putting him in the background so to speak, isnt this the way jesus would want?

  We all know that WTBS does not put a lot of emphasis on Jesus, yet when needed highlight his example and the importance of his name despite all the scriptural reference about how Jehovah made him IMPORTANT, SUPERIOR and have alot of AUTHORITY, yet when you read his life course he took all emphasis off himself and put it on his father.

  With that being said, the way the WTBS is putting him in the background so to speak, isnt this the way Jesus would want?

  Who Blesses who?

  i heard at the service meeting last night from a letter by the gb how jehovah is blessing the relief effort in the south.

  i got to wondering, what about the good being given to non-jw's who are getting help either thru relief agencies and or thru their church groups- i guess their help is being "blessed" by satan- huh??

  New members of the Governing Body

  since these guys were after 1935 and the door was closed, what qualified them to be a member of the gb?.

  how was this decided?.

  was it a case where they just needed one to be a black man "to represent"?

  Do the GB REALLY get their "Food" from Jehovah?

  we were taught that the "faithful and discreet slave" are led/fed by jehovah/jesus/ spirit.

  I have posted a similar question sometime ago. This is so deceving publishing things they "cut and pasted" from worldly wisdom and attaching Jehovah's name to it ! Yet the average JW would not hear of such thing. This certainly has pushed me further away from this organization. I'm holding on by a thread. I guess we have to take out / sift out what the bible truly says and go from there. But its hard going to the hall to keep hearing that all this stuff is in fact coming from Jehovah/ Jesus/ spirit.
