  Fark, looked all over for YK's "apology"

  Unfortunately, it may just prove to BE a valid defense, as he IS a religious nut, and very likely, demonstrably insane as well – in the dictionary sense of being “utterly senseless and irrational.” We’ll leave the “voices in the head” part for the shrinks to evaluate.

  But what I think is really going on, is that YK is wriggling on the hook, trying to justify to himself his failure to approach his elders with his awareness of this situation. After all, it could be viewed in this case that the JW’s most scared cow of all is being gored by his actions: Jehovah name is being reproached. If in his “mind,” no sin is/was committed, then no action is required on his part. When as we all know, in reality, it is his OBLIGATION to come forward and let OTHERS in authority make a determination as to his guilt and reprehensibility before his God, Jehovah.

  I laugh as I write this, because it’s obvious that YK sees himself as being above such insignificant things as proper theocratic procedure. It doesn’t apply to him; he makes his own rules.

  How about some thoughts on this?

  And Friday . . . I saw a recent post where someone claimed you were 61 years old and “anointed.” I was ROLFL after seeing that one. Up to now, I’d taken you to be 15 at the most. The angry little child in you comes through so loudly in your rants, that it colors your whole persona with wide brush strokes of juvenile imbecility (this thread being no exception).

  i thought i would share these upbuilding theocratic point with my new friends, along with my thoughts as i was listening to the program.

  Fear and paranoia plague me again

  i really like being here on this board.

  i come to read it every day, and now i have the pleasure of reading others responses to my posts and commenting on theirs.

  but, i am beginning to feel a resurrgence on that fear and paranoia that kept me from speaking up before.. after posting my notes on the convention, i began to feel a little guilty for ridiculing them when i know my son belives (as a result of my teaching) so strongly, and when i know so many good sincere friends at the kh who also believe so.

  I was able to identify completely with your post, and I know it would be very difficult for any non-witness to have a clue of what you’re talking about, or to understand the intense nature of the experience.

  When I went through these sorts of episodes, I imagined that Jehovah was sending his earthly servants to warn me (even if they themselves didn’t realize what they were doing). After all, he had seen what they hadn’t. Right? The eerie sense of foreboding that would overcome me at those moments was terrifying, and enough to make me arrest any aberrant (ie: breaking WTS rules) behavior. When I would open magazines at times like those, even randomly, I’d get the feeling that I had been drawn to read this. . . that I was being communicated with. It was all to damn spooky for me.

  I don’t have those feelings anymore. And you won’t either if you break the conditioning. I couldn’t live my life with the paranoia that comes from thinking I’m being watched, and reported on by invisible beings, as the society teaches we are. Hey, if they want to report something, why don’t they report some accurate prophecy, huh? Get my point? The feelings aren’t real. Let it go. It will pass in time. If you don’t, you’ll never overcome the invisible barrier they’ve erected around your mind with their constant programming.

  Good luck! And don’t be afraid to speak what you know to be truth, EVER! Even a JW is entitled to an opinion. Or so I think. It’s hard to balance these things when you don’t want to see close family members hurt. I understand and sympathize.

  DEEMINZ AT THE KINGDOM HALL!

  the other day, i was sharing with my non jw, never has been jw, never would be a jw catholic wife the story silent lambs told us about his last visit to the kh.

  i was inspired to visit the kh and play some mind games.. my wife bettered my idea and threw in the idea to make something "demonic" happen at the hall while i'm there.

  maybe a hidden tape recorder of some evil sounds or some other tricks.

  Your childish response to this thread tells me that YK is leaning toward option number 2 (from my list above). And really, what other choice does he have?

  Who can say, maybe they’ll let him off with a few hail Mary’s or some such clap. . . errrr, wait a minute, that's the other guys. Sorry I forgot. Your bunch is the one that df’s people for slander and cuts them off from association among Jehovah’s “clean people.” Well then, maybe the judicial committee will be so enthralled with the new religion that YK has advocated that they’ll be converted after reading his hundreds of posts. There is always hope.

  By the way, I do feel for him. As I feel sorry for everyone who is ensnared in the web of guilt, fear, and lies that is the WTS. You play you pay.

  The “smoldering candle” is sitting at home right now doing two things:

  1) Praying his guts out that it will all just go away (ALWAYS the first option).

  2) Considering his ONLY other viable option, and really, his obligation – which is to go to the elder body in his congregation and confess his “sin” before they find out about it.

  Either way, it doesn’t sound like fun to me.

  the word of my lord to you is 'let the one without sin cast the first stone,' and his hand is extended to you with a 'stone' in it.

  since you have seated yourself in the 'judgment seat', then you are obligated to now carry out the 'law' of that judgment.. if then, tallyman is guilty of the crime for which you judge him, stone him.

  otherwise... whatever it is that you have 'against' him, you must forgive him, just as the 'world' has forgiven him... and even much more so.. know, though, that with whatever judgment you are judging... you will be judged.
