  she's been a friend of mine since about february.

  she bartends at the pub i spent alot of time at before i moved to my new place in may.

  SLC Punk

  has anyone else seen this movie and what was your take?.

  personally it resonated as i grew up in se idaho about 3-4 hours from salt lake and i could identify with the main character's issues with the society in that state.

  i'll re-watch this movie and organize a more thought out summary of my impressions.

  the new "punk" to me is backstreet boys *gag* with mohawks, where's the anger, social and political commentary that the genre was built upon?

  a great example of that would be "lincoln park".

  aside from the jw bullshit of course.. so, i'm at work and taking phone calls as is my job.

  a customer called up looking for pricing and information about some material and whether or not home despot sells equal quality product.

  being the honest (for a salesman at least :p) person that i am, i answered her questions to the best of my ability.. after this was done, she asked me what my name was.

  its odd to me when and where things change for me.

  this last friday i went out with friends and a cousin i hadnt seen in over a year.

  i also went out in a part of town i hadnt spent time in for years.

  A Big Warm Hearted Thanks!

  to those here that mad me feel welcome upon my recent return, i feel a bit like the prodigal son (poor analogy).. after making this my first board over a year ago, i have meandered the exdub cyber community and made many good friends as well as meeting some truly amazing people.

  i feel i've established myself amongst the discussion boards and earned a reputation of sorts (hopefully positive).

  i have always checked in here, tho sporatically, and recent board politics and accessability have led me back here.

  i'm looking for some long lost friends, i can possibly get ahold of them or at least their information thru their parents.

  but these parents are still in and may not appreciate a phone call from one if their friend's apostate children.

  these are all people i knew 10+ years ago from idaho falls or blackfoot id area.
