you just absolutely CANNOT go to work? I am having one of those days. I drove all the way to work and the whole way there was pissed cause I hate the job at the moment so I walked in and said. "something has come up and I can't stay." They asked what was wrong. I said it was personal. They let me leave. I am home and so much happier right now. Think I will spend the day looking at the Help Wanted section of the paper and mailing some resumes. I wish I could work at home. I LOVE being home.

last week we had a huge porcupine in the yard (which our four year old calls a hamster.....lol).

As of yet, the only one to show any interest at all is the Montel Williams Show. I don't like talk shows but if we can get the story out there through his show we will use it. I am just upset because they offered over 2 months ago to do a story and said they would be calling back and we have heard nothing else. We keep writing and calling though.

Need Motivation
by copsec inugh, i need to work out and have no motivation.
the last several weeks, i have been doing 1 1/2 - 2 miles a night on the treadmill, lifting weights and doing 50 sit-ups a night.
not much i know but it's a start.

Update......I have lost three pounds since my last post! YAY!!!! ANd tonight I did 1 1/2 miles on the treadmill, did a 10-minute ab workout and lifted weights. I am still rolling! I am going to join the YMCA soon so I have access to a pool as swimming is GREAT exercise.

Anyone here love good wine? I am going to Maifest in Hermann, MO. this weekend and partaking freely. There are several great wineries there and we get a group together every year for Maifest and Oktoberfest. We start at the wineries when they open at 11:00 AM and then when they close at 6:00 PM, we hit the Beer Gardens. It is so much fun and the wines are great. We go to a place called Bias Winery first where they make a fantastic Reisling along with a few other good wines, then hit a couple of mediocre wineries on the way to the Adam Puchta Winery which makes a great white wine called Adam's Choice and a WONDERFUL dessert wine called Jazzbery, then we go to Hermannhoff Winery where my favorite is to mix their Cherry Wine with some Golden Spumante and make a spritzer. Then we eat and go to a little Beer Garden behind the Rieff House B & B where we drink a German beer called Oberdorfer Weiss Light. Most of these places can be found online if anyone wants to look and see what I am talking about. It's a great time!
