Bum Fights

omg..... i was watching tv and there is a new video out and its about las vegas bums/homeless people.

these guys go out and pay homeless people to do stupid things like fight with each other, jump into garbage bins, set their hair on fire.

there was even a spoof on the alligator guy who wrestles them (the guy from australia).

Yes, I've heared of it. The 'producers' thought up this idea to help pay for bigger projects they wanted to conduct. But this idea seems to be getting very popular.

I think this idea is sad, and VERY exploitive. Don't get me wrong, I,m not a prude, ( much ), and I enjoy a good laugh, buuuut this is kind of like laughing at the man who just got his hand cut off in the meat grinder.

I say this because I, like many of us, will give a little spare change to street people, from time to time. The majority of them need medication, which they don't get or take, and all are subject to the street scene.

Sometimes I will take time to talk to them. Always shake their hand, dirty or not. They are like older folk or children, the weakest and most exploitive segments of our society. So I'm not too thrilled about the strongest element of our society, rich educated white guys, taking advantadge of and dehumanizing they weakest elements of said society, poor, mentaly and emotionaly damaged homeless people just so they can drop a little extra coin in their pockets.

Well, I'll get off my soapbox now, sorry for ranting.

Why, I remember one el-dork shareing his compassion and concern with me one bookstudy evening by telling me point blank, "We don't care what you think!"

I believe he was speaking for the collective. And since if they did'ent care what I thought, they must not care how I feel. And if they did'ent care how I feel, they must also not give a damm about me as a person. Guess what?, they did'ent. Hang in there.

L.A. DA+Grand Jury=Archdiocese/WT next?

i don't know if anyone got around to reporting this but, today, the los angeles distric attorney informed cardinal mahoney of the los angeles archdiocese that if the cardinal was not more helpful in reporting child sexual abuse cases to law officials then the da, steve cooley, will seek to form a grand jury in la county to, by force, retrive letters, notes, reports, and other such documents intailing child sexual abuse and the repositioning of 'known' pedophile priest within the church.

i just scanned a post about somthing like this happening in new york.. i think it was by n. nates.

can you imagine if this becomes the norm.

I don't know if anyone got around to reporting this but, today, the Los Angeles Distric Attorney informed Cardinal Mahoney of the Los Angeles Archdiocese that if the Cardinal was not more helpful in reporting child sexual abuse cases to law officials then the DA, Steve Cooley, will seek to form a Grand Jury in LA County to, by force, retrive letters, notes, reports, and other such documents intailing child sexual abuse and the repositioning of 'known' pedophile priest within the Church.

I just scanned a post about somthing like this happening in New York.

Can you imagine if this becomes the norm. The watchtower better watchout! It better start burning those long kept 'reccords' on the 'friends' or they may find them sitting on some DA's desk along with detailed reccords on how the watchtower abused justice by making 'silent lambs' of child sexual abuse and glossing over the sins of child preadators all to protect the IMAGE of the wretchtower.

I think the bethel drones are going to be up extra long these nights changing the 'depends' on the governing body every time one of them reads the words district attorney and grand jury in the same sentence.

she said to me the reason the watchtower was involved with the u.n. was because two bad brothers signed up without the wt knowing about it.

can someone tell me what they are feeding these kids?

when a witness i was afraid of dying at the big a. now i just fear dying.

Being conscience of my own mortality. My human weaknesses and fears about NOT-really KNOWING whats on the other side.

I HATE the idea of having to take things on faith. It's not in my blood.

However,

My hope in Jesus Christ gives me the courage to 'look up' despite my fears. It has been my experience that putting faith in Christ untangles the web of fear that grips the human heart.

So I have great fear, but I also have even GREATER hope for the future.

The JWs are the best people myth

i'm sure most of you are all aware of the myth that the wts perpetrates.

they boldly make the claim that jehovah's witnesses are the most loving, compassionate and kind people on the face of the earth.

thats a really interesting statement considering some of the things that i have seen.

Sister Y was married to Brother Z. Brother Z is afflicted with a terrible degenerative condition. After some years Sister Y's love for Brother Z begins to fade. He's just NOT what she wanted.

Brother X, Z's BEST friend, visits often to "check up" on Brother Z. You know, to see how he's doing. Brother X has had marrital problems of his own for years.

Anyway, as you probably can conclude, Brother X leaves his wife and "steals" Brother Z's wife from him. X and Y are dissfellowshipped. They do their time on the "outside" but make all meetings, knowing reinstatement is on the way.

Conclusion: Brother X and Sister Y are back "in", married. Their in "good standing" with privilages. New home, many "friends", vacations, money, etc.

Brother Z sits in a wheelchair. 1 or 2 good friends who help out alot. His congregation IGNORES him. They NEVER visit. They don't even go out in service with him. He's a good guy. Never did them wrong. He just happened to make the mistake of being associated with and marrying one of the "best people" on the earth.

100% proof beyond a shadow of a doubt? No, of course not.

However,

As a witness, in name only, I KNOW the Borg masters consider their OPINNIONS as coming from Jehovah God. They would waste no time in administering sanction or punishment against ANY witness who acted against their collective will! They absolutely DO NOT BELIEVE that a witnesses opinion contrary to theirs on Biblical matters has ANY validity whatsoever.

It is therefore REASONABLE to assume that a witness, (FARKEL), would be PRESSURED to adopt the opinion of the Borg masters, on pain of punishment or sanction, to the EXCLUSION of his own conscience descission.

They had no right to act as his own conscience!

If they were truly Christ-like, they would have developed his conscience to stand on it's own, not threaten it into obedience.

Yes, war is awful. It's more than that, it's horrible. All the more reason civilized people should avoid it. But is it necessary?

It's hard for me to say. In this world, against a Hitler or a Husain, only the individual can be the judge. I wore the uniform for almost a decade. My conscience allowed it. After I started "studying" with the witnesses, I could not put that uniform back on, ever.

But the real issue is what does my conscience allow NOW. I don't condem ANYBODY who wears the uniform. I don't condem ANYBODY who willingly puts themselves in harms way to protect me and my family's freedoms, PERIOD!

I'd gladly let those in uniform lean on me for suppot. Feed them, shelter them, support them if it came to that. My non-military contribution to freedom I suppose.

That real issue of conscience is what the Borg masters demand from every able-bodied man and woman. They demand you suppress YOUR conscience and inflate their own! A persons individual conscience is NOT for those mummies to take. But they immorally take it ANYWAY!

In reference to Farkel's felony conviction, it was the Borg masters who lied to him by pressuring him to make THEIR decission when it should have been his decission to make all along.

What does your ID or Nick say about you?

someone replied to a post i entered and got me thinking what others perceive about us due to the nicks or id we have chosen.

some of the nicks i am sure are just self explanatory , others are cute, or simple.

although i suspect that very many in this room,took time to think of theirs and definitly the nick holds some little secret as to who they are as a person.

I thought mine appropriate because after many years of a hurtful life I still look to Jesus Christ, the "Cornerstone" of my life. That is somthing no hurtfull family member, no indifferent society, no Borg agent can ever take away from me, my faith in Christ.
