ok.....here's one for you.....maybe this follows on from previous posts about not forever being "ex-jws" as after all, you say you have to move on, and many here claim that they have.....however reading most posts here it becomes obvious that that doesn't seem to be the case.

many seem to be trapped in a "go get 'em" crusade against the jws that seems to go round and round ...... and others just go round.. why?

how long before resolution occurs?

The Watchtower - Hustling Pocket Change

apparently, at some assembly halls they are removing the pay phones and replacing them with their own phone lines - with a contribution box next to it.. you may already know about district assemblies where they put 'out of order' signs.

on working vending machines to prevent the rank and file from using them.. how much money do they expect to make from this?

they are trying to hustle pocket change!.

Remember, these rat bastards teach that they live in a sort of theocracy, so EVERY aspect of their followers lives is subject to THEIR interpretation and whim.

Sex, money, family, eternal destination, all theirs to control from their followers.

Since all this is true, telling you where to buy your lunch from is a very little thing to them.

What Was The 1st Thing That Made You Question?

as a youngster raised in the "truth", i had my questions.

but anytime you ask a question that is unanswerable, you are told to just wait on jehovah.

as time passes, i believe that we store up a number of unanswerable questions that forces one to eventually think about everything.

About 5 years ago I started asking the elders A-LOT of questions about socialtal teachings that made little scriptual sense.

I guess those elders interpreted my sincere questions as QUESTIONING THE SOCIETY, a BIG NO-NO in dubdom.

Anyway, I had a-lot of responsibilities in the hall because I wanted to help my brothers and sisters.

After awhile however, the brothers began "removing" me from my duties one by one. Wt reader, mag serv., teritory serv., mikes, sound etc., all began to go away.

After putting in ALL that effort I just KNEW people were looking at me and wondering why I was just SITTING there , not doing anything.

I even stopped answering at all meetings cause I knew I was being punished for doing the evil question asking.

So, it was the punishment thing that got me turned off and then I found the net. LOL.

NOW I'M REALLY DAMMED!!!

Is this legal?

if a former jw decided to put on a suit and tie and go door to door trying to place old wt magazines and books they had laying around, and asking for a small donation, but using the proceeds to buy beer, is that illegal in any way?

watchtower: Pimping you out to the world!

i was thinking how watchtower has to be one of the biggest pimps of peoples minds and bodies in the world.

#1 they have their people go out and "perform" or "do tricks" with peoples minds and emotions.. #2 they have their people go out and bring in the "masters belongings", warm bodies, their money and a lifetimes servitude, with watchtower the "master"!

Are You Embarrassed To Admit You Were A Witness?

if the subject of religion or even jehovah's witnesses ringing your doorbell has come up, do you shy away from talking about ever being a witness?

some have indicated that they felt stupid for ever believing in the watchtower.

others have said they have a responsibility to help others not get involved in this "cult".

what, according to the wts, is greedy - because i've just read from the latest tablet on watchtowerinformationservice that they should .

"quit mixing in company with anyone called a brother that is a fornicator or a greedy person" .

so what's with a greedy person - who's that - a person in a roller who runs over cripples - or someone who doesn't run after thieves to give them a cloak that they could well do with ?
