Watchtower "drama" last Sunday.
by CornerStone ini originaily said to myself that i was not going to post anything about last sundays "drama" at the dc because i did not want to stir up trouble.
but after reading about the watchtowers' less than charitable attitude toward their nyc neighbors i had a change of heart.. i sat there that morning with my wife and relatives, my eyes heavy from lack of sleep, children on either side of me already in dream land.
the drama was an old favorite; moses and korah.

Can someone post a "Blood Sheet"?
by CornerStone ini've been thinking about the absurdities regarding the borgs blood policy.
i would like to be able to pull out a sheet documenting the current do's and don'ts a witness must adhere to.
and i would like the wording to be stark so witneses can see the absurdity and danger in this man made policy.

Does the WTS hold to the truth in love?
by CornerStone ini was reading my bible this morning,(some of us still do :) ), and i came across these verses;.
11he is the one who gave these gifts to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers.
12their responsibility is to equip gods people to do his work and build up the church, the body of christ, 13until we come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of gods son that we will be mature and full grown in the lord, measuring up to the full stature of christ.. 14then we will no longer be like children, forever changing our minds about what we believe because someone has told us something different or because someone has cleverly lied to us and made the lie sound like the truth.

WTS Corporate responsibility; TAXES!
by CornerStone ini was looking at the freeminds website and noticed a page that listed a mess of the orgs forms that are used to report to the borg, i mean org.
that is one heck of a pile that is used by the r&f as well as elders and such.
i was thinking, (no comments please), that with all the massive paperwork and strict control that members have to deal with, and with the mandatory reporting upon pain of punishment that every r&f have to undergo, does'ent this take the religion clause out of the wts's religion with charitiable tax exempt status?.

7what soldier has to pay his own expenses?
and have you ever heard of a farmer who harvests his crop and doesnt have the right to eat some of it?

by CornerStone inwent to the sunday meeting today.
the talk was the same old same old about judgement day, field service, and other things i have all ready forgotten.
by the time the talk was over i was trying to stay awake but the wt study sure opened my eyes for me in a way a few "no-doze" could never do.
