It seems to me that in order to justify the cruel policy of shunning psychologically and feel better about carrying it about that by painting the victim in the worst possible light they can feel justified.

Rumors that they spread about you. When you left.
by jerome infor some time now i have been reading numerous indivisual life stories relating to their experience with the jws and one obscure ( or at least not directly elabourated upon) detail keeps popping up.. it would appear that whenever a person leaves the organisation by da/df/ia that people take it upon themselves to start spreading "nasty rumours" about the person in question.. it always seems that so much of these said rumours that were frabicated and then propagated throught the local jw community that the poaster almost never seems to have time to goint any detail about what exactaly was said about them in detail.. i would like to invite the posters here on the board to shed some light on their experience regarding their reputation after leaving the kh.. it would appear that once disfelloshipped that the jw community must make it abundantly clear that the person is of absolutely deplorable character inorder to justify their inhumane treatment of the df'ed indivisual.
saying that there is no honourable way to leave the oragnisation this seems to be rather common place.. i am also informed that even if the df'ed person were permitted to return that their reputation within the jw community would never be the same due to the tarnishing of their name and the stigma attached to being df'ed.. i may not be entirely too shure about this one but it would seem that if while still in good standing should the indvisual to become "publicly reproved" or "marked" that this would also be an invitation for the local jw community to begin the same process of defaming the character of the person in question.. would anyone care to discuss your personall experience relating to any private information which became public knowledge after you left the jw community or any half truths that were deileberately propagated to tarnish your name in the vacinity of the kh.
and even worse yet blant lies that were imagined and promoted about you inorder to permanatently damage your character.. i would also be interested in who exactly you think were responsible for the iniation of these rumours.. was it the elders?

Jehovah witnesses DESTROY happy families!
by D wiltshire injehovah witnesses destroy many otherwise happy families by their cruel and inhumane shunning.. the bryant families(ca.& or) are a very real example of how shunning as enforced by elders and the watchtower really messes up what could otherwise be happy families.. will those fat heads on the governing body ever stop and think about how their sad and tragic misuse of shunning has led to untold suffering for so so many people,.. people who they owe,... no, people who they should feel love and compassion for because they have trusted them with their lives.. there is all kinds of wickedness in this world and i think the governing body is right up there close the the most wicked by their use of manipulation though lies and guilt.
one day i'm sure they will be held accountable.. oh god please bring their own wickedness crashing back on their own heads, because they keep tearing your people to pieces with their lies and the shunning of innocent people, please bring their own form of wickedness crashing back on their own heads.. .
join the watchtower or you will die.. only jehovah's witnesses have the truth all other religions evil and from the devil.. you must beleive the watchtower or you're going to die a painful death forever, isn't that really good news?.

How they can have the cheek to talk about covering over sins when the organization spent a decade in secret affiliation with the United Nations.
Two sorts of weights are something detestable to Jehovah.
Welcome to the board and hope to hear more from you,and sorry to hear about how you have been dealt with so unfairly and cruelly, unfortunatelly WT religion is based on organizational mechanics not justice or compassion. -

Answer: The one had made a decision that was accompanied by a vow, and then reneged on it; whereas the other girl had never made the decision in the first place. It just demonstrates that to take a vow is no little thing. -- Ecclesiastes 5:4, 5.Blah,Blah,Blah,
Ok! How come they were both treated exactly the same, baptized or not ie shunned, until new light flashed forth in the 80,s after sucessful law procedures against the WT by unbaptized ones,
Seems more of an issue for the WT lawyers than a concern over vows. -

Family life is what many hold to be the most precious thing in their life and no one wants to loose their family, that is why they continue to use it as a blackmail tool, people are so scared of loosing ordanairy things like seeing grandchildren, family get togethers, family support etc.
I mean to many it would be no worse to put a gun to the head and be shot than be rejected the family, and have them walk right past and shun you. -

Climbing the corporate ladder at congregations
by master chief inat the hall i used to go to started to notice certain men volunteering all the time to do talks and helping others with needs in the hall.
though there was nothing wrong with that i started to become suspicious because they were not like that previously.then some months later these men became elders and some became ministerial servants ,and guess what did they volunteer for talks as much maybe be as helpful as much well i will leave you to guess that.so the question is why such a change of heart after the promotion, what were they really after did they want to fit in or want authority over others.
