My son and daughter...making me proud...
by Billzfan23 inmy 9 year old son decides back in april that the memorial is going to be his last meeting at the kingdomhall.
so... he refuses to go to the meetings, and when forced to go - leaves the meeting right after the song and starts walking to my mother-in-law's house a couple of blocks away where he knows my sypathetic father-in-law (a raging catholic, not a jw) will have sympathy on him and say "nevermind, just leave him here with me when you go to the meetings from now on.
" the next week - the garbage man visits to collect the trash in front of the house - and my son had taken all of his meeting clothes, pants, suit jackets, ties, dress socks, etc... and left them all curbside for the trash man to pick up.

Oh my God, I totally forgot he was in my hall, Newburg Spanish. I think he was in another hall for awhile, but yes, he was definitely in my hall while I was there. I remember now riding in his car group. I can't believe I forgot. Oh well, there is a lot I tried to forget about Bethel.

Springfield Massachusetts Thread!

is anyone here from the springfield (south unit) or anywhere around that area that i might know?

I used to hang out with Scott Weaver in Spring field when I was at the farm. I stayed with him for the convention once and we remained friends long after I left Bethel, but eventually we lost touch. He was a radical dude. He was offered scholarships fro basketball or football or both I can't remember but turned them down when he was converted to be a JW. I have had a lot of good times in Springfield. My roommate at Bethel, Phillip Hernandez Married a girl from Springfield and lives there still with his wife and at least one kid. Springfield rocks. Good times. Phillip goes to a Spanish hall.
