Jehovah's Witnesses church leader 'poisoned' by rival

jehovah's witnesses church leader 'poisoned' by rival.
the adelaide hills jehovah's witnesses community has been rocked by the alleged poisoning of a church official and his young family by a rival.. google_ad_section_end(name=story_introduction) the extraordinary series of events, in which glyphosate weed killer was injected into food, milk and fruit juice cartons in a fridge, was uncovered only after the victim set up a hidden camera in his kitchen - apparently catching the culprit in the act.. .

What are you confused about? The apologist version reads like they are talking to a bunch of two year olds. Obviously it is written by the Watchtower Society, commissioned no doubt. But reading all the propaganda found on that site, you get a picture of some really sick people who are working overtime to, oh if we could only explain away these problems, then maybe, just maybe we might be happy again.
And why can't the Watchtower just come out and print these articles in the pages of the Watchtower? because they are full of lies. Just blatant flagrant untruths. Feel free to examine the heck out of the apoligist writings. anybody with a semester of 9th grade English can see the prtopaganda for what it is. So sad the WT is full of so many cowards that can'y just respond as the Faithful and Discreet Slave on these issues. But the FDS is just a theological concept accordinbg to WT lawyers, so it doesn't exist.

Trying to draw any consistent morality from the Bible, New Teswtament or Old is an exercise in self delusion. I still haven't met a single person in my life, among Bible believers, who didn't believe in the Bible because:
1. The Bible says to believe in the Bible
2. God said to believe in the Bible
3. Start from the presumption that the Bible is a. true, b. God's word
4. The Bible is God's word
5. All the crazy things the Bible says, contradictory morality and the like, for example Jesus' racism, must mean there is something wrong with YOU as a person, nothing wrong with the Bible. you're just not looking at it through GOD's Eyes.
6. Whatever the Bible says is true and right and infallible and perfect. Infallible being the strongest possible word to use to describe the Bible, it being one or two steps BEYOND perfection.
If a lot of these presumptions sound alike then you see what I mean. It is just circular logic so you can't help but go around in circles and be redundant.

How many of you have downloaded the brochure from AJWRB.org and sent in the "Your Welcome card" to the Watchtower Society. I really hope some of you see the powerful statement it is making to actually give blood, and then send the card in to the Watchtower society essentially saying that "my own life blood is saving your lives. How about a thank you? It's pretty hard to criticize a person who has given part of their live tissue on behalf of JWs.

What the devil is capable of
by StopTheTears inthrough the years i and many of my companions have seen quite a few things done by devils that are not specifically mentioned in the.
bible including things similar to this:.
i received an im from some unknown source telling me that a crystal ball was going to be delivered in our church building.

Not capable of near as much as "Devil+1!" But then, "Devil+2" is even meaner. Super duper ultra devil is pretty bad as well.

Let's not forget that the years were not assigned until like the 1400s or so. Correct me if I'm wrong. But nobody in Jesus' time was go0ing around saying, "Hey this is year 17 AD! Yay! 17AD is finally here!" No, those numbers were applied in reverse way later. In Jesus' time there was no such thing as 33CE or AD.

As a JW child, were you afraid to swallow your own blood?
by biometrics ingrowing up as a jw born-in during the 1980s i distinctly remember cutting my tounge.
i was afraid to swallow my blood, thinking that if i even swallowed one drop i woudn't make it to the new system.
so i kept spitting the blood out.

YES! I remember one time I scraped my fingers on the pavement and my friend told me to just suck my finger until it stopped bleeding. I was afraid to do it. So he said, "No I don't want to suck your finger. I want you to suck your own finger." So I did it but I thought I was going to get in trouble. I went home and hid from my mom. I was 5.

If you don't understand what "accretion" is---how can you understand Bible?
by Terry inmorality, in order to be anything, cannot be everything.. it cannot be both good and bad.
a standard must be definitive.
borders and boundries define exactly where is is.. what is the bible?.

In my college history class, the question of what caused the civil war was always answered as the issue of States Rights. This is correct. Slavery was just one, and the main, sticking point of States Rights.
The North and the Soth were competing companies with different economies. The North was more industrialized and concentrated on manfacturing diverse products. There was more steel industry. More factories. Labor was paid labor at a very low rate for nskilled labor. Some say that the slaves on Southern plantations lived much better than lowly factory workers in the North.
The South had agriculture, cotton etc. Their labor was spplied by slaves. The North was losing political power to the South since the 3/5 compromise. The political interests of the South were different than those of the North. By freeing slaves the North stood to gain more inflence politically. The South wopuld be wopunded greatly in their economy if suddenly the slaves were let loos and they had to pay for their labor. The South wanted their States Rights to back them up and keep slavery legal. It was abot money and labor and indstry, not slavery as a moral ill.
The abolitionist movements really had little effect on the whole matter until tyhe North saw them as a partner in overthrowing the South. The majority of people back then had no problem with slavery at all. It was never a moral issue. The using of moralistic rhetoric by politicians at the time was just a convenience to get the political power to overcome the South.
So, was the civil war about slavery? No. It was one of the details in ther middle of a much larger fight. Bt to answer the question what caused the civil war, States Rights is a much better answer than slavery. It's not jst Southern textbooks that say so. Anyway, is there any such thing as a Southern text book? Text books are mostly printed in New York and have national distribution. When school districts choose textbooks (and colleges) I don't think there is a category that allows you to choose between southern and northern textbooks. I've never heard of that.
I know this was not the point of your thread, but States Rights, even though it is not a comp[lete answer either, is, again, a much better answer than "slavery."

That's like saying "What if it is the quinkyquarnk?"
