hello my dear friends.

because of not being allowed to go to college , i ended up not pursuing an interesting career in possible psychiatric profession, which i feel would have brought me lots of fullfillment .i did have a 3.6 gpa in high school and got straight a's in psychology and like subjects.

considering all the stress everybody has been under lately , in a serious or joking manner i would like to offer my humble 48 years of crazy -a$$ experiences to you if you want to talk about anything.

How do I find passion in my life? I don't mean sexual passion, but passion for hobbies or activities, etc. In my JW upbringing, hobbies and worldly passions were not to be pursued because all that mattered was the preaching work. I'm finding it hard to get interested in much except reading and eating.

Congregation Secretaries and Flashdrives

i recently did a computer favor for a jw gentleman who is the "secretary" in his congregation.. he appears to be running a small db that stores congregation records on a flashdrive.

apparently for security reasons this information is never to go on a pc hard drive.

(ostensibly because most pc's are eventually donated, handed down to children or become garage sale fodder.).

Flash drives seem to be popular with burglars who know what they are. :-(

How would you divide an inheritance?

would you give all of your children equal portions--completely regardless of behavior and/or attitude toward you?.

would you take into account anything they have done to deserve something "above and beyond"?.

is a child always entitled to an inheritance?

My mom frequently says she's mad at us because we don't visit her as often as she wants ( she works weird schedules and I can't always drop everything at the last minute to visit.) She's threatened to disinherit us and leave everything to our kids (Fine by me). Oops, guess she forgot I'm the executor of her estate, and she hasn't changed the will. ;-)

I only have one child, so I'm leaving most to her. I'm leaving a bit for my sister (due to need), and smaller amounts for my niece/nephews (to be used for higher education). I'm not leaving anything to my brother because he has plenty-his kids will get his part.

Affectionate Men vs Macho Men

i was watching a 2004 (re-run) episode of average joe hawaii and larissa picked the handsome, muscular man over the loving, patient, understanding not so cute man.

i'm not sure if you're familiar with the show but in it this beautiful model/actress has to choose between an average joe and a good looking guy.

they started her off with 16 average looking men and eventually threw in 8 good looking ones to heat things up a bit.

Somebody hurt my baby! :S

once again someone hurt nancy, my little mini cooper.

this time they popped the front driver side window, broke it all out, stole my tomtom gps, ripped apart the center console and tore up the 12 volt plug while ripping the gps power cable out.

the police came out and did the whole fingerprint thing and got a few bits and pieces of some prints, but we won't know if anything will come of it.
