I think if he continues attending JW meetings, the man you know will change drastically and you may not like the "new personality".

Is It Me Or Are The Males of Today More Feminine and/or Nerdy Than Ever B4?
by minimus inwhen i turn on the tv, i see so many fem men that i'm realizing that a 'manly" man seems to be a relic of the past.. metrosexuals rule the world now.supersensitive males who are in touch with their feminine side are the norm.. the john waynes & burt reynolds have been replaced with ryan seacrest lookalikes.. ladies, do you find these metrosexuals all that attractive?
?.

"To me, manliness means being wise, self-sufficient, healthy, emotionally secure, courteous. " Men don't have a monopoly on those traits. I'd associate these with being an adult.

How many of us are on the JW dating sites......
by IreallydidwalkoutofaKH ini thought maybe the gb got one thing right.
that is stating that only spiritually weak brothers and sisters would go on those sites.
however, to my shagrin....almost everyone i met was quite strong in the organization, but just wanted more friends.

Fanatic JWs would ask "where's the society's literature?" or "is that all you have?" and would probably raise an eyebrow at my philosophy and career-oriented books. I keep most of the questionable stuff in my closet. ;-)

ARE WOMEN MORE ROMANTIC THAN MEN................AND WHY?
by Summer wine inpersonally, i think they are ............and from an early age but why?
from personal experience men need to feel loved, wanted and appreciated but have a bypass from romance.
is it just my husband or do you men feel pressured to be "be romantic".

Since women have different ideas of romance, it's up to them to educate their men as to the details and desired frequency.

Anybody here a Jane Austen fan?
by Bonnie_Clyde innever thought i would be, but now i've watched 3 versions of sense and sensibility, 2 versions of pride and prejudice, 2 of persuasion, and 2 of emma.
also saw one of mansfield park, but i didn't like it that much.

Add me to the fan club. I too think that P&P with Colin Firth was the best.

I'm in a transition period right now, so things are unsettled. I'm trying to focus on the exciting freedom unemployment brings, but I feel more anxiety than anything else, especially with daily bad economic news. I tell myself "this too shall pass". I only hope that I am brave enough to hold out for a job in an industry that interests me rather than just taking the first thing that comes along.

I need some input (Migraines)
by Tired of the Hypocrisy indoes anyone know of any documented proof that long hair causes migraine headaches?.
the reason i ask is because my 16 year old son has this head full of curls.
he also has what we believe to be bad migraines.
