as a jw i was allways concerned when the number of annointed went up in the yearly report, so this year why dont we all find halls that dont know us (if we are shy) and partake.. thousands of "new annointed" would put the shits up the society!, and the brothers!
please tell me what you think as im quite excited anout this idea.. .

The Next Teaching to Fall
by Blueblades inwhile many have had their hopes dashed concerning the change on this "generation " teaching, there is yet another teaching yet to fall very soon.it must and will fall because it connected to the generation doctrine that has already been changed.. the teaching that could shortly cause the governing body a serious problem and could bring about a major change for the vast majority of the rank and file is "the great tribulation".while this teaching has been put off to the " indefinite future"the gb.continues to have a serious problem with it.if the great tribulation fails to occur reasonably soon, the doctrine concerning the earthly hope for the vast majority of jw's.will have proven to have been false.the' great crowd' are those who will have come out of the great tribulation.according to the society those persons began to be identified as present as early as 1932.so the youngest members are now in their 70's or 80's.. again, the time-line is running out!
and has the potential of adversely affecting hundreds of thousands of other witnesses in the not to distant future,as time passes without the fulfilment of their hopes for a new heavens and a new earth.. also, some time ago, there was a watchtower study article, i don't remember which one it was .it spiritualized, armageddon!
psalm 91,especially verse 7.it said that a thousand will fall at your very side and ten thousand at your right hand, applies to those leaving the org.

The problem as I see it is that for many JWs, new light is thirsted for, they look forward to it. Like Pavlov's dogs they go to the conventions salivating at the possibility of "Jah" telling them a new way to live their lives. New light has become deeply ingrained in them and they not only expect it, they welcome it with open arms.

Little Brother Burns Watchtower!
by OrbitingTheSun inoh my god, you guys!
some jehovahs witnesses just came to my house--and of course my latest strategy is to hide and let someone else answer the door, or not answer the door at all.
well, my younger brother is home from his first semester at college and he just happened to be near the door when they came knocking... .

When will George W. Bush stop the craziness?
by crownboy inok, so this hasn't happened (as yet), but in spite of the article being written in jest, it certainly seems like something that would happen if the administration thought they could get away with it.. http://theonion.com/onion3847/bill_of_rights.html.
washington, dcflanked by key members of congress and his administration, president bush approved monday a streamlined version of the bill of rights that pares its 10 original amendments down to a "tight, no-nonsense" six.. above: as supporters look on, bush signs the bill of rights reduction and consolidation act.. a republican initiative that went unopposed by congressional democrats, the revised bill of rights provides citizens with a "more manageable" set of privacy and due-process rights by eliminating four amendments and condensing and/or restructuring five others.
the second amendment, which protects the right to keep and bear arms, was the only article left unchanged.. calling the historic reduction "a victory for america," bush promised that the new document would do away with "bureaucratic impediments to the flourishing of democracy at home and abroad.".

Oh puhleeze!
I know a lot of people have reservations about conservatives. Thats fine. I know people have reservations about George W. Bush, thats fine.
Really though, must we resort to posting obvious farces and stating, "I know this is a farce, but COULD HAPPEN with that CRAAAAAAAAAAAAZY Bush guy in office!". Stick to actual news articles and make your case in a reasoned manner, stating facts and real concerns other than running around in circles stating: "THE SKY IS FALLING! THE SKY IS FALLING!"

What about Martin Luther and the Reformation? Or the crusades?
Really now the witnesses are so NOT persecuted these days its hilarious to see witnesses try to put on persecution wherever they can find it. There are plenty more persecuted religions and look at how the Mormons are growing at a faster rate than the witnesses are. "God's organization" sure doesn't seem to have his backing, or maybe its just another man made religion.
